절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	자유를 누리도록 하시려고, 그리스도께서 우리를 자유롭게 하셨습니다. 그러므로 굳게 서서 다시는 종살이의 멍에를 메지 마십시오.	Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
2	그리스도 안에서 자유를 누려라 보십시오! 나 바울이 여러분에게 말합니다. 여러분이 할례를 받는다면, 그리스도께서는 여러분에게 아무런 소용이 없을 것입니다.	Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
3	그러나 할례받는 사람에게 일일이 내가 다시 증언합니다. 할례받은 사람은 율법 전체를 실행할 의무가 있습니다.	For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
4	여러분은 그리스도하고는 상관없어졌습니다. 율법으로 의롭다고 인정받으려는 여러분은요. 여러분은 은혜에서 떨어져 나갔습니다.	Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
5	우리 자신들은 성령님을 힘입어 믿음에 기초해서, 희망하는 것, 곧 의롭다고 인정받는 것을 간절히 기다리고 있습니다.	For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
6	그리스도 예수님 안에서는 할례받은 것이나 할례받지 않은 것이나 별 의미가 없습니다. 도리어 의미 있는 것은 사랑을 통해 작용하는 믿음입니다.	For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
7	여러분은 잘 달려오고 있었습니다. 그런데 누가 여러분을 가로막아서 진리를 따르지 못하게 했습니까?	Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?
8	그런 부추김은 여러분을 부르신 분한테서 나온 것이 아닙니다.	This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.
9	적은 누룩이 반죽 덩이 전체를 부풀게 합니다.	A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
10	나로서는 주님 안에서 여러분에 대해 확신하고 있습니다. 여러분이 다른 무슨 생각을 품는 일은 전혀 없을 것이라고요. 여러분을 혼란에 빠뜨리는 사람은 심판을 떠안을 겁니다. 그가 누구든 그렇습니다.	I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
11	형제자매 여러분, 내가 아직도 할례를 선포하고 있다면 왜 아직도 박해를 받고 있겠습니까? 그렇다면 십자가라는 걸림돌은 벌써 치워졌을 겁니다.	And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
12	여러분을 뒤흔들어 놓은 사람들이 스스로 그것을 잘라 버렸으면 좋겠습니다!	I would they were even cut off which trouble you.
13	자유를 몸뚱이의 욕망을 채울 기회로 삼지 마라 형제자매 여러분, 여러분은 자유를 누리도록 부르심을 받았습니다. 그러나 다만 여러분은 그 자유를 몸뚱이의 욕망을 채울 기회로 삼지 말고, 오히려 사랑으로 서로 종노릇하십시오.	For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
14	율법 전체는 이 한 말씀 속에 요약되어 있습니다. 그 말씀은 “너의 이웃을 너 자신처럼 사랑하라.” 하신 것입니다.	For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
15	여러분이 줄곧 서로 물어뜯고 삼킨다면, 서로 망해 버리고 말 테니 조심하십시오!	But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
16	몸뚱이의 일들 이제 내가 말합니다. 여러분은 성령님께 이끌려 살아가십시오. 그러면 몸뚱이의 욕망을 채우는 일은 절대 없을 것입니다.	This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17	몸뚱이가 욕망하는 것은 성령님에 반대하고, 성령님은 몸뚱이에 반대하시니까요. 이것들은 서로 맞서 있기 때문입니다. 그래서 여러분이 바라는 것이 무엇이든 그것들을 실행하지 못하게 합니다.	For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18	여러분이 성령님께 이끌려 살면, 여러분은 율법 아래 있지 않습니다.	But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
19	이제 몸뚱이의 일들은 분명합니다. 그것들은 음란한 짓, 깨끗하지 못함, 멋대로 놀아남,	Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20	우상 숭배, 주술, 적개심, 다툼, 질투, 분노, 자기만 생각함, 분쟁, 분열,	Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21	시샘, 술 취함, 흥청망청함과 그 비슷한 것들입니다. 내가 여러분에게 경고합니다. 전에도 경고했던 대로입니다. 이러한 일들을 하는 사람들은 하나님 나라를 상속받지 못할 것입니다.	Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22	성령님의 열매들 그러나 성령님의 열매는 사랑, 기쁨, 평화, 참음, 다정함, 착함, 믿음직함,	But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23	온유, 절제입니다. 이런 것들을 거스르는 율법은 없습니다.	Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24	이제 그리스도 예수님의 사람들은 몸뚱이를 욕정과 욕망도 함께 십자가에 못 박았습니다.	And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25	우리가 성령님 안에서 살아가고 있다면, 성령님이 이끄시는 대로 걸어갑시다.	If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26	우리는 우쭐대거나, 서로 화를 돋우거나, 서로 시샘하지 맙시다.	Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
