| 2 | satria ianareo mahalala marimarina fa ho avy toy ny mpangalatra amin’ ny alina ny andron’ ny Tompo. | For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. |
| 3 | Raha misy olona manao hoe: Miadana sy mandry fahizay, dia hanjo azy tampoka ny fandringanana, toy ny fahararian’ ny vehivavy raha miteraka, ka tsy ho afa-mandositra mihitsy izy. | For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. |
