| 2 | L'Eternel est grand, et fort louable en la ville de notre Dieu, en la montagne de sa Sainteté. | Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King. |
| 3 | Le plus beau de la contrée, la joie de toute la terre, c'est la montagne de Sion au fond de l'Aquilon ; c'est la ville du grand Roi. | God is known in her palaces for a refuge. |
| 4 | Dieu est connu en ses palais pour une haute retraite. | For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together. |

Car c'est le Dieu qui est notre Dieu à toujours et à perpétuité ; il nous accompagnera jusques à la mort. | For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death. |
