Je crie à toi, ô Eternel ! mon rocher, ne te rends point sourd envers moi, de peur que si tu ne me réponds, je ne sois fait semblable à ceux qui descendent en la fosse. | Unto thee will I cry, O Lord my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit. |
| 2 | Exauce la voix de mes supplications, lorsque je crie à toi, quand j'élève mes mains vers l'Oracle de ta Sainteté. | Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle. |
| 3 | Ne me traîne point avec les méchants, ni avec les ouvriers d'iniquité, qui parlent de paix avec leurs prochains, pendant que la malice est dans leur coeur. | Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts. |
| 4 | Traite-les selon leurs oeuvres, et selon la malice de leurs actions : traite-les selon l'ouvrage de leurs mains ; rends-leur ce qu'ils ont mérité. | Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert. |
