| 2 | Ce sera celui qui marche dans l'intégrité, qui fait ce qui est juste, et qui profère la vérité telle qu'elle est dans son cœur ; | He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. |
| 3 | Qui ne médit point par sa langue, qui ne fait point de mal à son ami, qui ne diffame point son prochain ; | He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. |
| 4 | Aux yeux duquel est méprisable celui qui mérite d'être rejeté, mais il honore ceux qui craignent l'Eternel ; s'il a juré, fût-ce à son dommage, il n'en changera rien ; | In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the Lord. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not. |
