| 2 | Qu'Israël se réjouisse en celui qui l'a fait, et que les enfants de Sion s'égayent en leur Roi. | Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. |
| 3 | Qu'ils louent son Nom sur la flûte, qu'ils lui psalmodient sur le tambour, et sur la harpe. | Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. |
| 4 | Car l'Eternel met son affection en son peuple ; il rendra honorables les débonnaires en les délivrant. | For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. |
| 5 | Les bien-aimés s'égayeront avec gloire, et ils se réjouiront dans leurs lits. | Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. |

| 8 | Pour lier leurs Rois de chaînes, et les plus honorables d'entr'eux de ceps de fer ; | To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; |
| 9 | Pour exercer sur eux le jugement qui est écrit. Cet honneur est pour tous ses bien-aimés. Louez l'Eternel. | To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord. |
