| 2 | ആധിപത്യവും ഭയങ്കരത്വവും അവന്റെ പക്കൽ ഉണ്ടു; തന്റെ ഉന്നതസ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ അവൻ സമാധാനം പാലിക്കുന്നു. | Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places. |
| 3 | അവന്റെ സൈന്യങ്ങൾക്കു സംഖ്യയുണ്ടോ? അവന്റെ പ്രകാശം ആൎക്കു ഉദിക്കാതെയിരിക്കുന്നു? | Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise? |
| 4 | മൎത്യൻ ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ എങ്ങനെ നീതിമാനാകും? സ്ത്രീ പ്രസവിച്ചവൻ എങ്ങനെ നിൎമ്മലനാകും? | How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman? |
| 5 | ചന്ദ്രന്നുപോലും ശോഭയില്ലല്ലോ; നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളും തൃക്കണ്ണിന്നു ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവയല്ല. | Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight. |
| 6 | പിന്നെ പുഴുവായിരിക്കുന്ന മൎത്യനും കൃമിയായിരിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യനും എങ്ങനെ? | How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm? |
