| 1 | ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ ആലോചനപ്രകാരം നടക്കാതെയും പാപികളുടെ വഴിയിൽ നില്ക്കാതെയും പരിഹാസികളുടെ ഇരിപ്പിടത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കാതെയും | Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. |
| 2 | യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ സന്തോഷിച്ചു അവന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തെ രാപ്പകൽ ധ്യാനിക്കുന്നവൻ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ. | But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. |
| 3 | അവൻ, ആറ്റരികത്തു നട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതും തക്കകാലത്തു ഫലം കായ്ക്കുന്നതും ഇലവാടാത്തതുമായ വൃക്ഷംപോലെ ഇരിക്കും; അവൻചെയ്യുന്നതൊക്കെയും സാധിക്കും. | And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. |
| 4 | ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ അങ്ങനെയല്ല; അവർ കാറ്റു പാറ്റുന്ന പതിർപോലെയത്രേ. | The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. |
| 5 | ആകയാൽ ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ ന്യായവിസ്താരത്തിലും പാപികൾ നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ സഭയിലും നിവിൎന്നുനില്ക്കുകയില്ല. | Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. |
| 6 | യഹോവ നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ വഴി അറിയുന്നു; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ വഴിയോ നാശകരം ആകുന്നു. | For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. |
