1 എന്റെ ബലമായ യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ നിന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു. I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
2 യഹോവ എന്റെ ശൈലവും എന്റെ കോട്ടയും എന്റെ രക്ഷകനും എന്റെ ദൈവവും ഞാൻ ശരണമാക്കുന്ന എന്റെ പാറയും എന്റെ പരിചയും എന്റെ രക്ഷയായ കൊമ്പും എന്റെ ഗോപുരവും ആകുന്നു. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
3 സ്തുത്യനായ യഹോവയെ ഞാൻ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കയും എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷപ്രാപിക്കയും ചെയ്യും. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
4 മരണപാശങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ചുറ്റി; അഗാധപ്രവാഹങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ഭ്രമിപ്പിച്ചു. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.
5 പാതാളപാശങ്ങൾ എന്നെ വളഞ്ഞു; മരണത്തിന്റെ കണികളും എന്നെ തുടൎന്നു പിടിച്ചു. The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.
6 എന്റെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ ഞാൻ യഹോവയെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചു, എന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവൻ തന്റെ മന്ദിരത്തിൽനിന്നു എന്റെ അപേക്ഷ കേട്ടു; തിരുമുമ്പിൽ ഞാൻ കഴിച്ച പ്രാൎത്ഥന അവന്റെ ചെവിയിൽ എത്തി. In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
7 ഭൂമി ഞെട്ടിവിറെച്ചു; മലകളുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ ഇളകി; അവൻ കോപിക്കയാൽ അവ കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോയി. Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.
8 അവന്റെ മൂക്കിൽനിന്നു പുക പൊങ്ങി; അവന്റെ വായിൽനിന്നു തീ പുറപ്പെട്ടു ദഹിപ്പിച്ചു. തീക്കനൽ അവങ്കൽനിന്നു ജ്വലിച്ചു. There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
9 അവൻ ആകാശം ചായിച്ചിറങ്ങി; കൂരിരുൾ അവന്റെ കാല്ക്കീഴുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.
10 അവൻ കെരൂബിനെ വാഹനമാക്കി പറന്നു; അവൻ കാറ്റിന്റെ ചിറകിന്മേലിരുന്നു പറപ്പിച്ചു. And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.
11 അവൻ അന്ധകാരത്തെ തന്റെ മറവും ജലതമസ്സിനെയും ആകാശമേഘങ്ങളെയും തനിക്കു ചുറ്റും കൂടാരവുമാക്കി. He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.
12 അവന്റെ മുമ്പിലുള്ള പ്രകാശത്താൽ ആലിപ്പഴവും തീക്കനലും അവന്റെ മേഘങ്ങളിൽകൂടി പൊഴിഞ്ഞു. At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire.
13 യഹോവ ആകാശത്തിൽ ഇടി മുഴക്കി, അത്യുന്നതൻ തന്റെ നാദം കേൾപ്പിച്ചു, ആലിപ്പഴവും തീക്കനലും പൊഴിഞ്ഞു. The Lord also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.
14 അവൻ അസ്ത്രം എയ്തു അവരെ ചിതറിച്ചു; മിന്നൽ അയച്ചു അവരെ തോല്പിച്ചു. Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them.
15 യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ഭൎത്സനത്താലും നിന്റെ മൂക്കിലെ ശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ ഊത്തിനാലും നീൎത്തോടുകൾ കാണായ്‌വന്നു ഭൂതലത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ വെളിപ്പെട്ടു. Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O Lord, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.
16 അവൻ ഉയരത്തിൽനിന്നു കൈ നീട്ടി എന്നെ പിടിച്ചു, പെരുവെള്ളത്തിൽനിന്നു എന്നെ വലിച്ചെടുത്തു. He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.
17 ബലമുള്ള ശത്രുവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നും എന്നെ പകെച്ചവരുടെ പക്കൽനിന്നും അവൻ എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു; അവർ എന്നിലും ബലമേറിയവരായിരുന്നു. He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.
18 എന്റെ അനൎത്ഥദിവസത്തിൽ അവർ എന്നെ ആക്രമിച്ചു; എന്നാൽ യഹോവ എനിക്കു തുണയായിരുന്നു. They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the Lord was my stay.
19 അവൻ എന്നെ വിശാലതയിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; എന്നിൽ പ്രസാദിച്ചിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു. He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
20 യഹോവ എന്റെ നീതിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം എനിക്കു പ്രതിഫലം നല്കി; എന്റെ കൈകളുടെ വെടിപ്പിന്നൊത്തവണ്ണം എനിക്കു പകരം തന്നു. The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
21 ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ വഴികളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചു; എന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടു ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തതുമില്ല. For I have kept the ways of the Lord, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
22 അവന്റെ വിധികൾ ഒക്കെയും എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ഉണ്ടു; അവന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ ഞാൻ വിട്ടുനടന്നിട്ടുമില്ല. For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me.
23 ഞാൻ അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിഷ്കളങ്കനായിരുന്നു; അകൃത്യം ചെയ്യാതെ എന്നെത്തന്നേ കാത്തു. I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.
24 യഹോവ എന്റെ നീതിപ്രകാരവും അവന്റെ കാഴ്ചയിൽ എന്റെ കൈകൾക്കുള്ള വെടിപ്പിൻപ്രകാരവും എനിക്കു പകരം നല്കി. Therefore hath the Lord recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.
25 ദയാലുവോടു നീ ദയാലു ആകുന്നു; നഷ്കളങ്കനോടു നീ നിഷ്കളങ്കൻ; With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright;
26 നിൎമ്മലനോടു നീ നിൎമ്മലനാകുന്നു; വക്രനോടു നീ വക്രത കാണിക്കുന്നു. With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.
27 എളിയജനത്തെ നീ രക്ഷിക്കും; നിഗളിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നവരെ നീ താഴ്ത്തും. For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks.
28 നീ എന്റെ ദീപത്തെ കത്തിക്കും; എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്റെ അന്ധകാരത്തെ പ്രകാശമാക്കും. For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.
29 നിന്നാൽ ഞാൻ പടക്കൂട്ടത്തിന്റെ നേരെ പാഞ്ഞുചെല്ലും; എന്റെ ദൈവത്താൽ ഞാൻ മതിൽ ചാടിക്കടക്കും. For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.
30 ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വഴി തികവുള്ളതു; യഹോവയുടെ വചനം ഊതിക്കഴിച്ചതു; തന്നേ ശരണമാക്കുന്ന ഏവൎക്കും അവൻ പരിചയാകുന്നു. As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
31 യഹോവയല്ലാതെ ദൈവം ആരുള്ളു? നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം ഒഴികെ പാറയാരുള്ളു? For who is God save the Lord? or who is a rock save our God?
32 എന്നെ ശക്തികൊണ്ടു അരമുറുക്കുകയും എന്റെ വഴി കുറവുതീൎക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ദൈവം തന്നേ. It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
33 അവൻ എന്റെ കാലുകളെ മാൻപേടക്കാല്ക്കു തുല്യമാക്കി, എന്റെ ഗിരികളിൽ എന്നെ നില്ക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു. He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places.
34 അവൻ എന്റെ കൈകൾക്കു യുദ്ധാഭ്യാസം വരുത്തുന്നു; എന്റെ ഭുജങ്ങൾ താമ്രചാപം കുലെക്കുന്നു. He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
35 നിന്റെ രക്ഷ എന്ന പരിചയെ നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ എന്നെ താങ്ങി നിന്റെ സൌമ്യത എന്നെ വലിയവനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
36 ഞാൻ കാലടി വെക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ വിശാലതവരുത്തി; എന്റെ നരിയാണികൾ വഴുതിപ്പോയതുമില്ല. Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.
37 ഞാൻ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ പിന്തുടൎന്നു പിടിച്ചു; അവരെ മുടിക്കുവോളം ഞാൻ പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞില്ല. I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.
38 അവൎക്കു എഴുന്നേറ്റുകൂടാതവണ്ണം ഞാൻ അവരെ തകൎത്തു; അവർ എന്റെ കാൽകീഴിൽ വീണിരിക്കുന്നു. I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.
39 യുദ്ധത്തിന്നായി നീ എന്റെ അരെക്കു ശക്തി കെട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടു എതിൎത്തവരെ എനിക്കു കീഴടക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
40 എന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാൻ സംഹരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ എനിക്കു പുറംകാട്ടുമാറാക്കി. Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.
41 അവർ നിലവിളിച്ചു; രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ആരുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല; യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവൻ ഉത്തരമരുളിയതുമില്ല. They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the Lord, but he answered them not.
42 ഞാൻ അവരെ കാറ്റത്തെ പൊടിപോലെ പൊടിച്ചു; വീഥികളിലെ ചെളിയെപ്പോലെ ഞാൻ അവരെ കോരിക്കളഞ്ഞു. Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.
43 ജനത്തിന്റെ കലഹങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു നീ എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു; ജാതികൾക്കു എന്നെ തലവനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ അറിയാത്ത ജനം എന്നെ സേവിക്കുന്നു. Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.
44 അവർ കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നേ എന്നെ അനുസരിക്കും; അന്യജാതിക്കാർ എന്നോടു അനുസരണഭാവം കാണിക്കും. As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.
45 അന്യജാതിക്കാർ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകുന്നു; തങ്ങളുടെ ദുൎഗ്ഗങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു അവർ വിറെച്ചുംകൊണ്ടുവരുന്നു. The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.
46 യഹോവ ജീവിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ പാറ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവൻ; എന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ ദൈവം ഉന്നതൻ തന്നേ. The Lord liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.
47 ദൈവം എനിക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്കയും ജാതികളെ എനിക്കു കീഴാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me.
48 അവൻ ശത്രുവശത്തുനിന്നു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടു എതിൎക്കുന്നവർക്കു മീതെ നീ എന്നെ ഉയൎത്തുന്നു; സാഹസക്കാരന്റെ കയ്യിൽ നിന്നു നീ എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു. He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
49 അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ ജാതികളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ നിനക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും; നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ ഞാൻ കീൎത്തിക്കും. Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.
50 അവൻ തന്റെ രാജാവിന്നു മഹാരക്ഷ നല്കുന്നു; തന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്നു ദയ കാണിക്കുന്നു; ദാവീദിന്നും അവന്റെ സന്തതിക്കും എന്നേക്കും തന്നേ. Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
