| 2 | നിഷ്കളങ്കനായി നടന്നു നീതി പ്രവൎത്തിക്കയും ഹൃദയപൂൎവ്വം സത്യം സംസാരിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ. | He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. |
| 3 | നാവുകൊണ്ടു കുരള പറയാതെയും തന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരനോടു ദോഷം ചെയ്യാതെയും കൂട്ടുകാരന്നു അപമാനം വരുത്താതെയും ഇരിക്കുന്നവൻ; | He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. |
| 4 | വഷളനെ നിന്ദ്യനായി എണ്ണുകയും യഹോവാഭക്തന്മാരെ ബഹുമാനിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ; സത്യംചെയ്തിട്ടു ചേതം വന്നാലും മാറാത്തവൻ; | In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the Lord. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not. |
| 5 | തന്റെ ദ്രവ്യം പലിശെക്കു കൊടുക്കാതെയും കുറ്റുമില്ലാത്തവന്നു വിരോധമായി കൈക്കൂലി വാങ്ങാതെയും ഇരിക്കുന്നവൻ; ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ ഒരുനാളും കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോകയില്ല. | He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved. |
