| 1 | യഹോവേ, എത്രത്തോളം നീ എന്നെ മറന്നുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും? നീ എത്രത്തോളം നിന്റെ മുഖത്തെ ഞാൻ കാണാതവണ്ണം മറെക്കും? | How long wilt thou forget me, O Lord? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me? |
| 2 | എത്രത്തോളം ഞാൻ എന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ വിചാരംപിടിച്ചു എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ദിവസംപ്രതി ദുഃഖം അനുഭവിക്കേണ്ടിവരും? എത്രത്തോളം എന്റെ ശത്രു എന്റെമേൽ ഉയൎന്നിരിക്കും? | How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me? |
| 3 | എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, കടാക്ഷിക്കേണമേ; എനിക്കു ഉത്തരം അരുളേണമേ; ഞാൻ മരണനിദ്ര പ്രാപിക്കാതിരിപ്പാൻ എന്റെ കണ്ണുകളെ പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കേണമേ. | Consider and hear me, O Lord my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death; |
| 4 | ഞാൻ അവനെ തോല്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു എന്നു എന്റെ ശത്രു പറയരുതേ; ഞാൻ ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോകുന്നതിനാൽ എന്റെ വൈരികൾ ഉല്ലസിക്കയുമരുതേ. | Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved. |
| 5 | ഞാനോ നിന്റെ കരുണയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ഹൃദയം നിന്റെ രക്ഷയിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കും. | But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. |
