| 2 | കൎത്താവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാൎത്ഥന കേൾക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ചെവി എന്റെ യാചനകൾക്കു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചിരിക്കേണമേ. | Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. |
| 3 | യഹോവേ, നീ അകൃത്യങ്ങളെ ഓൎമ്മവെച്ചാൽ കൎത്താവേ, ആർ നിലനില്ക്കും? | If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? |
| 4 | എങ്കിലും നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്റെ പക്കൽ വിമോചനം ഉണ്ടു. | But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. |
| 5 | ഞാൻ യഹോവെക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ഉള്ളം കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ വചനത്തിൽ ഞാൻ പ്രത്യാശവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. | I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. |
| 6 | ഉഷസ്സിന്നായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവരെക്കാൾ, ഉഷസ്സിന്നായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവരെക്കാൾ എന്റെ ഉള്ളം യഹോവെക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. | My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. |
| 7 | യിസ്രായേലേ, യഹോവയിൽ പ്രത്യാശവെച്ചുകൊൾക; യഹോവെക്കു കൃപയും അവന്റെപക്കൽ ധാരാളം വീണ്ടെടുപ്പും ഉണ്ടു. | Let Israel hope in the Lord: for with the Lord there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption. |
| 8 | അവൻ യിസ്രായേലിനെ അവന്റെ അകൃത്യങ്ങളിൽനിന്നൊക്കെയും വീണ്ടെടുക്കും. | And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities. |
