| 2 | യഹോവേ, വ്യാജമുള്ള അധരങ്ങളെയും വഞ്ചനയുള്ള നാവിനെയും തടുത്തു എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ. | Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue. |
| 3 | വഞ്ചനയുള്ള നാവേ, നിനക്കു എന്തു വരും? നിനക്കു ഇനി എന്തു കിട്ടും? | What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue? |
| 4 | വീരന്റെ മൂൎച്ചയുള്ള അസ്ത്രങ്ങളും പൂവത്തിൻ കനലും തന്നേ. | Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper. |
| 5 | ഞാൻ മേശെക്കിൽ പ്രവാസം ചെയ്യുന്നതുകൊണ്ടും കേദാർകൂടാരങ്ങളിൽ പാൎക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടും എനിക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! | Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar! |
