1 ശബ്ബത്ത് കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം മഗ്ദലക്കാരത്തി മറിയയും യാക്കോബിന്റെ അമ്മ മറിയയും ശലോമയും ചെന്നു അവനെ പൂശേണ്ടതിന്നു സുഗന്ധവൎഗ്ഗം വാങ്ങി. And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
2 ആഴ്ചവട്ടത്തിന്റെ ഒന്നാം നാൾ അതികാലത്തു സൂൎയ്യൻ ഉദിച്ചപ്പോൾ അവർ കല്ലറെക്കൽ ചെന്നു: And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.
3 കല്ലറയുടെ വാതിൽക്കൽ നിന്നു നമുക്കു വേണ്ടി ആർ കല്ലു ഉരുട്ടിക്കളയും എന്നു തമ്മിൽ പറഞ്ഞു. And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?
4 അവർ നോക്കിയാറെ കല്ലു ഉരുട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞതായി കണ്ടു; അതു ഏറ്റവും വലുതായിരുന്നു. And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.
5 അവർ കല്ലറെക്കകത്തു കടന്നപ്പോൾ വെള്ളനിലയങ്കി ധരിച്ച ഒരു ബാല്യക്കാരൻ വലത്തു ഭാഗത്തു ഇരിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു ഭ്രമിച്ചു. And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.
6 അവൻ അവരോടു: ഭ്രമിക്കേണ്ടാ; ക്രൂശിക്കപ്പെട്ട നസറായനായ യേശുവിനെ നിങ്ങൾ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ ഉയിൎത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റു; അവൻ ഇവിടെ ഇല്ല; അവനെ വെച്ച സ്ഥലം ഇതാ. And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
7 നിങ്ങൾ പോയി അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടും പത്രൊസിനോടും: അവൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പെ ഗലീലെക്കു പോകുന്നു എന്നു പറവിൻ; അവൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ അവിടെ അവനെ കാണും എന്നു പറവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.
8 അവൎക്കു വിറയലും ഭ്രമവും പിടിച്ചു അവർ കല്ലറ വിട്ടു ഓടിപ്പോയി; അവർ ഭയപ്പെടുകയാൽ ആരോടും ഒന്നും പറഞ്ഞില്ല. And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.
9 [അവൻ ആഴ്ചവട്ടത്തിന്റെ ഒന്നാം നാൾ രാവിലെ ഉയിൎത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റിട്ടു താൻ ഏഴു ഭൂതങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കിയിരുന്ന മഗ്ദലക്കാരത്തി മറിയെക്കു ആദ്യം പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി. Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
10 അവൾ ചെന്നു അവനോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നവരായി ദുഃഖിച്ചും കരഞ്ഞുംകൊണ്ടിരുന്നവരോടു അറിയിച്ചു. And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
11 അവൻ ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നും അവൾ അവനെ കണ്ടു എന്നും അവർ കേട്ടാറെ വിശ്വസിച്ചില്ല. And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.
12 പിന്നെ അവരിൽ രണ്ടുപേർ നാട്ടിലേക്കു പോകുമ്പോൾ അവൻ മറ്റൊരു രൂപത്തിൽ അവൎക്കു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി. After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.
13 അവർ പോയി ശേഷമുള്ളവരോടു അറിയിച്ചു; അവരുടെ വാക്കും അവർ വിശ്വസിച്ചില്ല. And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.
14 പിന്നത്തേതിൽ പതിനൊരുവർ ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്നിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവൻ അവൎക്കു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി, തന്നെ ഉയിൎത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റവനായി കണ്ടവരുടെ വാക്കു വിശ്വസിക്കായ്കയാൽ അവരുടെ അവിശ്വാസത്തെയും ഹൃദയ കാഠിന്യത്തെയും ശാസിച്ചു. Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.
15 പിന്നെ അവൻ അവരോടു: നിങ്ങൾ ഭൂലോകത്തിൽ ഒക്കെയും പോയി സകല സൃഷ്ടിയോടും സുവിശേഷം പ്രസംഗിപ്പിൻ. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 വിശ്വസിക്കയും സ്നാനം ഏല്ക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടും; വിശ്വസിക്കാത്തവൻ ശിക്ഷാവിധിയിൽ അകപ്പെടും. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവരാൽ ഈ അടയാളങ്ങൾ നടക്കും: എന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ അവർ ഭൂതങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കും; പുതുഭാഷകളിൽ സംസാരിക്കും; And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 സൎപ്പങ്ങളെ പിടിച്ചെടുക്കും; മരണകരമായ യാതൊന്നു കുടിച്ചാലും അവൎക്കു ഹാനി വരികയില്ല; രോഗികളുടെ മേൽ കൈവെച്ചാൽ അവൎക്കു സൌഖ്യം വരും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 ഇങ്ങനെ കൎത്താവായ യേശു അവരോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തശേഷം സ്വൎഗ്ഗത്തിലേക്കു എടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു ഇരുന്നു. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 അവർ പുറപ്പെട്ടു എല്ലാടത്തും പ്രസംഗിച്ചു; കൎത്താവു അവരോടുകൂടെ പ്രവൎത്തിച്ചും അവരാൽ നടന്ന അടയാളങ്ങളാൽ വചനത്തെ ഉറപ്പിച്ചും പോന്നു.] And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
