|---|---|---|
εἰς τὸ τέλος ὑπὲρ τῶν ληνῶν τῷ Ασαφ ψαλμός | Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.
ἀγαλλιᾶσθε τῷ θεῷ τῷ βοηθῷ ἡμῶν ἀλαλάξατε τῷ θεῷ Ιακωβ | Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come and save us.
λάβετε ψαλμὸν καὶ δότε τύμπανον ψαλτήριον τερπνὸν μετὰ κιθάρας | Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
σαλπίσατε ἐν νεομηνίᾳ σάλπιγγι ἐν εὐσήμῳ ἡμέρᾳ ἑορτῆς ἡμῶν | O Lord God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?
ὅτι πρόσταγμα τῷ Ισραηλ ἐστὶν καὶ κρίμα τῷ θεῷ Ιακωβ | Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and givest them tears to drink in great measure.
μαρτύριον ἐν τῷ Ιωσηφ ἔθετο αὐτὸν ἐν τῷ ἐξελθεῖν αὐτὸν ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου γλῶσσαν ἣν οὐκ ἔγνω ἤκουσεν | Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves.
ἀπέστησεν ἀπὸ ἄρσεων τὸν νῶτον αὐτοῦ αἱ χεῖρες αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ κοφίνῳ ἐδούλευσαν | Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
ἐν θλίψει ἐπεκαλέσω με καὶ ἐρρυσάμην σε ἐπήκουσά σου ἐν ἀποκρύφῳ καταιγίδος ἐδοκίμασά σε ἐπὶ ὕδατος ἀντιλογίας διάψαλμα | Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it.
ἄκουσον λαός μου καὶ διαμαρτύρομαί σοι Ισραηλ ἐὰν ἀκούσῃς μου | Thou preparedst room before it, and didst cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land.
οὐκ ἔσται ἐν σοὶ θεὸς πρόσφατος οὐδὲ προσκυνήσεις θεῷ ἀλλοτρίῳ | The hills were covered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were like the goodly cedars.
ἐγὼ γάρ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεός σου ὁ ἀναγαγών σε ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου πλάτυνον τὸ στόμα σου καὶ πληρώσω αὐτό | She sent out her boughs unto the sea, and her branches unto the river.
καὶ οὐκ ἤκουσεν ὁ λαός μου τῆς φωνῆς μου καὶ Ισραηλ οὐ προσέσχεν μοι | Why hast thou then broken down her hedges, so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her?
καὶ ἐξαπέστειλα αὐτοὺς κατὰ τὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα τῶν καρδιῶν αὐτῶν πορεύσονται ἐν τοῖς ἐπιτηδεύμασιν αὐτῶν | The boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the wild beast of the field doth devour it.
εἰ ὁ λαός μου ἤκουσέν μου Ισραηλ ταῖς ὁδοῖς μου εἰ ἐπορεύθη | Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;
ἐν τῷ μηδενὶ ἂν τοὺς ἐχθροὺς αὐτῶν ἐταπείνωσα καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς θλίβοντας αὐτοὺς ἐπέβαλον τὴν χεῖρά μου | And the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted, and the branch that thou madest strong for thyself.
οἱ ἐχθροὶ κυρίου ἐψεύσαντο αὐτῷ καὶ ἔσται ὁ καιρὸς αὐτῶν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα | It is burned with fire, it is cut down: they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.
καὶ ἐψώμισεν αὐτοὺς ἐκ στέατος πυροῦ καὶ ἐκ πέτρας μέλι ἐχόρτασεν αὐτούς | Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.
— | So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name.
— | Turn us again, O Lord God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
