| 4 | μὴ ἐκκλίνῃς τὴν καρδίαν μου εἰς λόγους πονηρίας τοῦ προφασίζεσθαι προφάσεις ἐν ἁμαρτίαις σὺν ἀνθρώποις ἐργαζομένοις ἀνομίαν καὶ οὐ μὴ συνδυάσω μετὰ τῶν ἐκλεκτῶν αὐτῶν | Keep me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings. |
| 5 | παιδεύσει με δίκαιος ἐν ἐλέει καὶ ἐλέγξει με ἔλαιον δὲ ἁμαρτωλοῦ μὴ λιπανάτω τὴν κεφαλήν μου ὅτι ἔτι καὶ ἡ προσευχή μου ἐν ταῖς εὐδοκίαις αὐτῶν | The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah. |
| 6 | κατεπόθησαν ἐχόμενα πέτρας οἱ κριταὶ αὐτῶν ἀκούσονται τὰ ῥήματά μου ὅτι ἡδύνθησαν | I said unto the Lord, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O Lord. |
| 7 | ὡσεὶ πάχος γῆς διερράγη ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς διεσκορπίσθη τὰ ὀστᾶ ἡμῶν παρὰ τὸν ᾅδην | O God the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle. |
| 8 | ὅτι πρὸς σέ κύριε κύριε οἱ ὀφθαλμοί μου ἐπὶ σὲ ἤλπισα μὴ ἀντανέλῃς τὴν ψυχήν μου | Grant not, O Lord, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah. |

| 10 | πεσοῦνται ἐν ἀμφιβλήστρῳ αὐτοῦ ἁμαρτωλοί κατὰ μόνας εἰμὶ ἐγὼ ἕως οὗ ἂν παρέλθω | Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again. |
