| 2 | Der HErr erhöre dich in der Not; der Name des GOttes Jakobs schütze dich! | Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; |
| 3 | Er sende dir Hilfe vom Heiligtum und stärke dich aus Zion! | Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah. |
| 4 | Er gedenke all deines Speisopfers, und dein Brandopfer müsse fett sein. Sela. | Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel. |
| 5 | Er gebe dir, was dein Herz begehret, und erfülle alle deine Anschläge! | We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions. |
| 6 | Wir rühmen, daß du uns hilfst; und im Namen unsers GOttes werfen wir Panier auf. Der HErr gewähre dir alle deine Bitte! | Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. |
| 7 | Nun merke ich, daß der HErr seinem Gesalbten hilft und erhöret ihn in seinem heiligen Himmel; seine rechte Hand hilft gewaltiglich. | Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. |
| 8 | Jene verlassen sich auf Wagen und Rosse; wir aber denken an den Namen des HErrn, unsers GOttes. | They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. |
