| 1 | Com minha voz clamo ao SENHOR; com minha voz suplico ao SENHOR. | I cried unto the Lord with my voice; with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication. |
| 2 | Diante dele derramo meu pedido; diante dele contei minha angústia. | I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble. |
| 3 | Estando meu espírito angustiado em mim, tu conheceste meu percurso; no caminho em que eu andava esconderam um laço de armadilha para mim. | When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me. |
| 4 | Eu olho à direita, e eis que não há quem me conheça; não há nenhum refúgio para mim; nem ninguém se importava com minha alma. | I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul. |
| 5 | Eu clamo a ti, SENHOR, dizendo: Tu és meu refúgio, e minha porção na terra dos viventes. | I cried unto thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living. |
| 6 | Presta atenção aos meus gritos, porque estou muito oprimido; resgata-me daqueles que me perseguem, pois são mais fortes que eu. | Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I. |
| 7 | Tira minha alma da prisão, para que eu louve o teu nome; os justos me rodearão, porque tu me tratarás bem. | Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me. |
