| 1 | Das profundezas clamo a ti, SENHOR. | Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord. |
| 2 | Ouve, Senhor, a minha voz; sejam teus ouvidos atentos à voz de minhas súplicas. | Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. |
| 3 | Se tu, SENHOR, considerares todas as perversidades, quem resistirá, Senhor? | If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? |
| 4 | Mas contigo está o perdão, para que tu sejas temido. | But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. |
| 5 | Mantenho esperança no SENHOR, a minha alma espera; e persisto em sua palavra. | I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. |
| 6 | Minha alma espera ansiosamente pelo Senhor, mais que os guardas esperam pela manhã, mais que os vigilantes pelo alvorecer. | My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. |
| 7 | Espere, Israel, pelo SENHOR; porque com o SENHOR há bondade, e com ele muito resgate. | Let Israel hope in the Lord: for with the Lord there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption. |
| 8 | E ele resgatará Israel de todas as suas perversidades. | And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities. |
