| 2 | Ó SENHOR, livra minha alma dos lábios mentirosos, da língua enganadora. | Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue. |
| 3 | O que ele te dará, e o que ele fará contigo, ó língua enganadora? | What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue? |
| 4 | Flechas afiadas de um guerreiro, com brasas de zimbro. | Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper. |
| 5 | Ai de mim, que peregrino em Meseque, e habito nas tendas de Quedar! | Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar! |
| 6 | Minha alma morou tempo demais com os que odeiam a paz. | My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace. |
