| 2 | Judá se tornou seu santuário, e Israel os seus domínios. | Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion. |
| 3 | O mar viu, e fugiu; e o Jordão recuou. | The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back. |
| 4 | Os montes saltaram como carneiros, os morros como cordeiros. | The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs. |
| 5 | O que houve, ó mar, que fugiste? Ó Jordão, que recuaste? | What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back? |
| 6 | Ó montes, que saltastes como carneiros? Ó morros, como cordeiros? | Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs? |
