1	Hiobs dritte Antwort an Bildad Hiob antwortete und sprach:	But Job answered and said,
2	Wie sehr stehst du dem bei, der keine Kraft hat, hilfst du dem, der keine Stärke in den Armen hat!	How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength?
3	Wie gibst du Rat dem, der keine Weisheit hat, und lehrst ihn Einsicht in Fülle!	How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?
4	Zu wem redest du? Und wessen Geist geht von dir aus?	To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?
5	Die Schöpfermacht Gottes Die Schatten drunten erbeben, unter dem Wasser und seinen Bewohnern.	Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.
6	Das Totenreich ist aufgedeckt vor ihm, und der Abgrund hat keine Decke.	Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.
7	Er spannt den Norden aus über dem Leeren und hängt die Erde über das Nichts.	He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
8	Er fasst das Wasser zusammen in seine Wolken, und die Wolken zerreißen darunter nicht.	He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.
9	Er verhüllt seinen Thron und breitet seine Wolken davor.	He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.
10	Er hat am Rande des Wassers eine Grenze gezogen, wo Licht und Finsternis sich scheiden.	He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.
11	Die Säulen des Himmels zittern und entsetzen sich vor seinem Schelten.	The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.
12	Durch seine Kraft hat er das Meer erregt, und durch seine Einsicht hat er Rahab zerschmettert.	He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.
13	Am Himmel wurde es schön durch seinen Wind, und seine Hand durchbohrte die flüchtige Schlange.	By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
14	Siehe, das sind nur die Enden seiner Wege, und nur ein leises Wörtlein davon haben wir vernommen. Wer will aber den Donner seiner Macht verstehen?	Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
