1	Dies sind die Söhne Israels: Ruben, Simeon, Levi, Juda, Issachar, Sebulon,	These are the sons of Israel; Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,
2	Dan, Josef, Benjamin, Naftali, Gad, Asser. (vgl. Kap )	Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
3	Die Geschlechter Judas Die Söhne Judas sind: Ger, Onan, Schela. Diese drei wurden ihm geboren von der Kanaaniterin, der Tochter Schuas. Ger aber, der Erstgeborene Judas, war böse vor dem Herrn; darum ließ er ihn sterben.	The sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah: which three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the Lord; and he slew him.
4	Tamar aber, seine Schwiegertochter, gebar ihm Perez und Serach, sodass die Söhne Judas zusammen fünf waren.	And Tamar his daughter in law bare him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.
5	Die Söhne des Perez sind: Hezron und Hamul.	The sons of Pharez; Hezron, and Hamul.
6	Die Söhne Serachs aber sind: Simri, Etan, Heman, Kalkol, Darda. Das sind zusammen fünf.	And the sons of Zerah; Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.
7	Der Sohn Karmis ist: Achan, der Israel ins Unglück brachte, als er sich am Gebannten vergriff.	And the sons of Carmi; Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the thing accursed.
8	Der Sohn Etans ist: Asarja.	And the sons of Ethan; Azariah.
9	Die Söhne Hezrons aber, die ihm geboren wurden, sind: Jerachmeel, Ram, Kaleb.	The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
10	Ram aber zeugte Amminadab. Amminadab zeugte Nachschon, den Fürsten von Juda.	And Ram begat Amminadab; and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;
11	Nachschon zeugte Salmon. Salmon zeugte Boas.	And Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,
12	Boas zeugte Obed. Obed zeugte Isai.	And Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse,
13	Isai zeugte seinen Erstgeborenen Eliab, Abinadab als zweiten Sohn, Schima als dritten,	And Jesse begat his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,
14	Netanel als vierten, Raddai als fünften,	Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
15	Ozem als sechsten, David als siebenten.	Ozem the sixth, David the seventh:
16	Und ihre Schwestern waren: Zeruja und Abigail. Die Söhne der Zeruja sind: Abischai, Joab, Asaël, diese drei.	Whose sisters were Zeruiah, and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah; Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.
17	Abigail aber gebar Amasa. Der Vater Amasas aber war Jeter, ein Ismaeliter.	And Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmeelite.
18	Kaleb, der Sohn Hezrons, zeugte mit Asuba, seiner Frau, die Jeriot. Und dies sind ihre Söhne: Jescher, Schobab und Ardon.	And Caleb the son of Hezron begat children of Azubah his wife, and of Jerioth: her sons are these; Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
19	Als aber Asuba starb, nahm Kaleb Efrata; die gebar ihm Hur.	And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.
20	Hur zeugte Uri. Uri zeugte Bezalel.	And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.
21	Danach kam Hezron zu der Tochter Machirs, des Vaters Gileads, und er nahm sie, als er sechzig Jahre alt war, und sie gebar ihm Segub.	And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was threescore years old; and she bare him Segub.
22	Segub aber zeugte Jaïr. Der hatte dreiundzwanzig Städte im Lande Gilead.	And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead.
23	Aber die Geschuriter und Aramäer nahmen ihnen die »Dörfer Jaïrs«, dazu Kenat mit seinen Ortschaften, sechzig Städte. Diese alle sind Söhne Machirs, des Vaters Gileads.	And he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Jair, from them, with Kenath, and the towns thereof, even threescore cities. All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.
24	Nach dem Tode Hezrons kam Kaleb zu Efrata, und die Frau Hezrons war Abija, und sie gebar ihm Aschhur, den Vater Tekoas.	And after that Hezron was dead in Caleb–ephratah, then Abiah Hezron’s wife bare him Ashur the father of Tekoa.
25	Jerachmeel, der Erstgeborene Hezrons, hatte Söhne: den Erstgeborenen Ram, ferner Buna, Oren, Ozem, Ahija.	And the sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were, Ram the firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Ahijah.
26	Und Jerachmeel hatte noch eine andere Frau, die hieß Atara; die ist die Mutter Onams.	Jerahmeel had also another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
27	Die Söhne Rams, des Erstgeborenen Jerachmeels, sind: Maaz, Jamin und Eker.	And the sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were, Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
28	Aber Onam hatte Söhne: Schammai und Jada. Die Söhne Schammais aber sind: Nadab und Abischur.	And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Jada. And the sons of Shammai; Nadab, and Abishur.
29	Die Frau Abischurs aber hieß Abihajil; die gebar ihm Achban und Molid.	And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she bare him Ahban, and Molid.
30	Die Söhne Nadabs aber sind: Seled und Appajim. Und Seled starb ohne Söhne.	And the sons of Nadab; Seled, and Appaim: but Seled died without children.
31	Der Sohn Appajims ist Jischi. Der Sohn Jischis ist Scheschan. Der Sohn Scheschans ist Achlai.	And the sons of Appaim; Ishi. And the sons of Ishi; Sheshan. And the children of Sheshan; Ahlai.
32	Aber die Söhne Jadas, des Bruders Schammais, sind: Jeter und Jonatan. Jeter aber starb ohne Söhne.	And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai; Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether died without children.
33	Die Söhne Jonatans aber sind: Pelet und Sasa. Das sind die Söhne Jerachmeels.	And the sons of Jonathan; Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.
34	Scheschan aber hatte keine Söhne, sondern nur Töchter. Und Scheschan hatte einen ägyptischen Knecht, der hieß Jarha.	Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.
35	Und Scheschan gab seinem Knecht Jarha seine Tochter zur Frau; die gebar ihm Attai.	And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bare him Attai.
36	Attai zeugte Nathan. Nathan zeugte Sabad.	And Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad,
37	Sabad zeugte Eflal. Eflal zeugte Obed.	And Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed,
38	Obed zeugte Jehu. Jehu zeugte Asarja.	And Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat Azariah,
39	Asarja zeugte Helez. Helez zeugte Elasa.	And Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,
40	Elasa zeugte Sismai. Sismai zeugte Schallum.	And Eleasah begat Sisamai, and Sisamai begat Shallum,
41	Schallum zeugte Jekamja. Jekamja zeugte Elischama.	And Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.
42	Die Söhne Kalebs, des Bruders Jerachmeels, sind: Mescha, sein Erstgeborener, der Vater Sifs, und die Söhne Mareschas, des Vaters Hebrons.	Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were, Mesha his firstborn, which was the father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
43	Die Söhne Hebrons aber sind: Korach, Tappuach, Rekem und Schema.	And the sons of Hebron; Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.
44	Schema aber zeugte Raham, den Vater Jorkoams. Rekem zeugte Schammai.	And Shema begat Raham, the father of Jorkoam: and Rekem begat Shammai.
45	Der Sohn Schammais aber hieß Maon, und Maon war der Vater Bet-Zurs.	And the son of Shammai was Maon: and Maon was the father of Beth–zur.
46	Efa aber, die Nebenfrau Kalebs, gebar Haran, Moza und Gases. Haran aber zeugte Gases.	And Ephah, Caleb’s concubine, bare Haran, and Moza, and Gazez: and Haran begat Gazez.
47	Die Söhne Jahdais aber sind: Regem, Jotam, Geschan, Pelet, Efa und Schaaf.	And the sons of Jahdai; Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
48	Maacha aber, die Nebenfrau Kalebs, gebar Scheber und Tirhana	Maachah, Caleb’s concubine, bare Sheber, and Tirhanah.
49	und gebar auch Schaaf, den Vater Madmannas, und Schewa, den Vater Machbenas und den Vater Gibeas. Aber Achsa war Kalebs Tochter.	She bare also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea: and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.
50	Dies waren die Söhne Kalebs. Die Söhne Hurs, des Erstgeborenen von der Efrata, waren: Schobal, der Vater Kirjat-Jearims,	These were the sons of Caleb the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah; Shobal the father of Kirjath–jearim,
51	Salma, der Vater Bethlehems, Haref, der Vater Bet-Gaders.	Salma the father of Beth–lehem, Hareph the father of Beth–gader.
52	Und Schobal, der Vater Kirjat-Jearims, hatte Söhne: Reaja und die Hälfte der Manahatiter.	And Shobal the father of Kirjath–jearim had sons; Haroeh, and half of the Manahethites.
53	Die Geschlechter von Kirjat-Jearim aber waren: die Jeteriter, Putiter, Schumatiter und Mischraiter. Von diesen sind ausgegangen die Zoratiter und Eschtaoliter.	And the families of Kirjath–jearim; the Ithrites, and the Puhites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zareathites, and the Eshtaulites.
54	Die Söhne Salmas sind: Bethlehem und die Netofatiter, Atrot-Bet-Joab und die Hälfte der Manahatiter, das sind die Zoratiter.	The sons of Salma; Beth–lehem, and the Netophathites, Ataroth, the house of Joab, and half of the Manahethites, the Zorites.
55	Und die Geschlechter der Schreiber, die in Jabez wohnten, sind die Tiratiter, Schimatiter, Suchatiter. Das sind die Kiniter, die da gekommen sind von Hammat, dem Vater des Hauses Rechab.	And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.
