절	Lutherbibel (2017)	King James Version
1	Erwählung bewahrt nicht vor Gericht Hört dieses Wort, das der Herr wider euch redet, ihr Israeliten, wider das ganze Geschlecht, das ich aus Ägyptenland geführt habe:	Hear this word that the Lord hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,
2	Aus allen Geschlechtern auf Erden habe ich allein euch erkannt, darum will ich auch an euch heimsuchen all eure Sünde.	You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.
3	Wenn Gott redet, kann der Prophet nicht schweigen Können etwa zwei miteinander wandern, sie hätten sich denn getroffen?	Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
4	Brüllt etwa ein Löwe im Walde, wenn er keinen Raub hat? Schreit etwa ein junger Löwe aus seiner Höhle, er habe denn etwas gefangen?	Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing?
5	Fällt etwa ein Vogel zur Erde, wenn kein Fangnetz da ist? Oder springt eine Falle auf von der Erde, sie habe denn etwas gefangen?	Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all?
6	Bläst man etwa das Horn in einer Stadt, und das Volk entsetzt sich nicht? Geschieht etwa ein Unglück in der Stadt, und der Herr hat es nicht getan? –	Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the Lord hath not done it?
7	Gott der Herr tut nichts, er offenbarte denn seinen Ratschluss seinen Knechten, den Propheten. –	Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
8	Der Löwe brüllt, wer sollte sich nicht fürchten? Gott der Herr redet, wer sollte nicht Prophet werden?	The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord God hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
9	Gericht über Samaria Lasst hören über den Palästen von Aschdod und in den Palästen im Lande Ägypten und sprecht: Sammelt euch auf den Bergen um Samaria und seht, welch ein großes Zetergeschrei und Unrecht darin ist!	Publish in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great tumults in the midst thereof, and the oppressed in the midst thereof.
10	Sie achten kein Recht, spricht der Herr; sie horten Gewalttat und Raub in ihren Palästen.	For they know not to do right, saith the Lord, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.
11	Darum, so spricht Gott der Herr: Man wird dies Land ringsumher bedrängen und deine Macht niederreißen und deine Paläste plündern.	Therefore thus saith the Lord God; An adversary there shall be even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled.
12	So spricht der Herr: Gleichwie ein Hirte dem Löwen zwei Beine oder ein Ohrläppchen aus dem Maul reißt, so sollen die Israeliten herausgerissen werden, die zu Samaria sitzen an der Lehne des Ruhebettes und auf dem Lager von Damast.	Thus saith the Lord; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch.
13	Hört und bezeugt es dem Hause Jakob, spricht Gott der Herr, der Gott Zebaoth:	Hear ye, and testify in the house of Jacob, saith the Lord God, the God of hosts,
14	Zur Zeit, da ich Israels Frevel an ihm heimsuchen werde, will ich die Altäre in Bethel heimsuchen und die Hörner des Altars abhauen, dass sie zu Boden fallen,	That in the day that I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him I will also visit the altars of Beth–el: and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground.
15	und will Winterhaus und Sommerhaus zerschlagen, und die Elfenbeinhäuser sollen zugrunde gehen und viele Häuser vernichtet werden, spricht der Herr.	And I will smite the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, saith the Lord.
