1	—	Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.
2	Gott ist Richter über die Stolzen / Ein Psalm und Lied Asafs, vorzusingen, nach der Weise »Vertilge nicht«. Wir danken dir, Gott, wir danken dir und verkündigen deine Wunder, dass dein Name so nahe ist.	When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.
3	»Wenn meine Zeit gekommen ist, werde ich recht richten.	The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.
4	Die Erde mag wanken und alle, die darauf wohnen, aber ich halte ihre Säulen fest.« SELA.	I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:
5	Ich sprach zu den Ruhmredigen: Rühmt euch nicht so!, und zu den Frevlern: Brüstet euch nicht mit Macht!	Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.
6	Brüstet euch nicht so hoch mit eurer Macht, redet nicht so halsstarrig!	For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
7	Denn es kommt nicht vom Aufgang und nicht vom Niedergang, nicht von der Wüste und nicht von den Bergen,	But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
8	sondern Gott ist Richter, der diesen erniedrigt und jenen erhöht.	For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.
9	Denn der Herr hat einen Becher in der Hand, mit starkem Wein voll eingeschenkt. Er schenkt daraus ein, / und die Frevler auf Erden müssen alle trinken und auch noch die Hefe schlürfen.	But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
10	Ich aber will verkündigen ewiglich und lobsingen dem Gott Jakobs.	All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
11	Und ich will alle Gewalt der Frevler zerbrechen, dass die Gewalt des Gerechten erhöht werde.	—
