1	Aus der Tiefe rufe ich, Herr, zu dir. /	Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.
2	Aus tiefer Not (Der sechste Bußpsalm) / Ein Wallfahrtslied. Herr, höre meine Stimme! Lass deine Ohren merken auf die Stimme meines Flehens!	Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
3	Wenn du, Herr, Sünden anrechnen willst – Herr, wer wird bestehen?	If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
4	Denn bei dir ist die Vergebung, dass man dich fürchte.	But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
5	Ich harre des Herrn, meine Seele harret, und ich hoffe auf sein Wort.	I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
6	Meine Seele wartet auf den Herrn mehr als die Wächter auf den Morgen; mehr als die Wächter auf den Morgen	My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
7	hoffe Israel auf den Herrn! Denn bei dem Herrn ist die Gnade und viel Erlösung bei ihm.	Let Israel hope in the Lord: for with the Lord there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
8	Und er wird Israel erlösen aus allen seinen Sünden.	And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
