1	Verbotene sexuelle Beziehungen Und der Herr redete mit Mose und sprach:	And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2	Rede mit den Israeliten und sprich zu ihnen: Ich bin der Herr, euer Gott.	Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the Lord your God.
3	Ihr sollt nicht tun nach der Weise des Landes Ägypten, darin ihr gewohnt habt, auch nicht nach der Weise des Landes Kanaan, wohin ich euch führen will. Ihr sollt auch nicht nach ihren Satzungen wandeln,	After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.
4	sondern nach meinen Rechten sollt ihr tun und meine Satzungen sollt ihr halten, dass ihr darin wandelt; ich bin der Herr, euer Gott.	Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the Lord your God.
5	Darum sollt ihr meine Satzungen halten und meine Rechte. Denn der Mensch, der sie tut, wird durch sie leben; ich bin der Herr.	Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the Lord.
6	Keiner unter euch soll sich irgendwelchen Blutsverwandten nahen, um ihre Scham zu entblößen; ich bin der Herr.	None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the Lord.
7	Du sollst die Scham deines Vaters und die Scham deiner Mutter nicht entblößen. Es ist deine Mutter, darum sollst du ihre Scham nicht entblößen.	The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
8	Du sollst die Scham der Frau deines Vaters nicht entblößen; denn es ist deines Vaters Scham.	The nakedness of thy father’s wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father’s nakedness.
9	Du sollst die Scham deiner Schwester, die deines Vaters oder deiner Mutter Tochter ist, nicht entblößen, sie sei daheim oder draußen geboren.	The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.
10	Du sollst die Scham der Tochter deines Sohnes oder deiner Tochter nicht entblößen, denn es ist deine eigene Scham.	The nakedness of thy son’s daughter, or of thy daughter’s daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness.
11	Du sollst die Scham der Tochter der Frau deines Vaters, die deinem Vater geboren ist und deine Schwester ist, nicht entblößen.	The nakedness of thy father’s wife’s daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
12	Du sollst die Scham der Schwester deines Vaters nicht entblößen; denn sie ist deines Vaters Blutsverwandte.	Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s sister: she is thy father’s near kinswoman.
13	Du sollst die Scham der Schwester deiner Mutter nicht entblößen; denn sie ist deiner Mutter Blutsverwandte.	Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother’s sister: for she is thy mother’s near kinswoman.
14	Du sollst die Scham des Bruders deines Vaters nicht entblößen, seiner Frau sollst du dich nicht nähern; denn sie ist deine Verwandte.	Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.
15	Du sollst die Scham deiner Schwiegertochter nicht entblößen, denn sie ist deines Sohnes Frau; darum sollst du nicht ihre Scham entblößen.	Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: she is thy son’s wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
16	Du sollst die Scham der Frau deines Bruders nicht entblößen; denn es ist deines Bruders Scham.	Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother’s wife: it is thy brother’s nakedness.
17	Du sollst nicht die Scham einer Frau samt der Scham ihrer Tochter entblößen, noch die Scham der Tochter ihres Sohnes oder der Tochter ihrer Tochter; denn sie sind ihre Blutsverwandten, und es ist eine Schandtat.	Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness.
18	Du sollst die Schwester deiner Frau nicht ihr zuwider zur Frau nehmen und ihre Scham entblößen, solange deine Frau noch lebt.	Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time.
19	Du sollst nicht zu einer Frau gehen, solange sie ihren Blutfluss hat, um in ihrer Unreinheit ihre Scham zu entblößen.	Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.
20	Du sollst auch nicht bei der Frau deines Nächsten liegen, dass du an ihr nicht unrein wirst.	Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour’s wife, to defile thyself with her.
21	Du sollst auch nicht eins deiner Kinder geben, dass es dem Moloch geweiht werde, damit du nicht entheiligst den Namen deines Gottes; ich bin der Herr.	And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the Lord.
22	Du sollst nicht bei einem Mann liegen wie bei einer Frau; es ist ein Gräuel.	Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
23	Du sollst auch bei keinem Tier liegen, dass du an ihm unrein wirst. Und keine Frau soll vor ein Tier treten, dass es sie begatte; es ist ein schändlicher Frevel.	Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.
24	Ihr sollt euch mit nichts dergleichen unrein machen; denn mit alledem haben sich die Völker unrein gemacht, die ich vor euch her vertreiben will.	Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
25	Das Land wurde dadurch unrein, und ich suchte seine Schuld an ihm heim, dass das Land seine Bewohner ausspie.	And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
26	Darum haltet meine Satzungen und Rechte und tut keine dieser Gräuel, weder der Einheimische noch der Fremdling unter euch –	Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
27	denn alle solche Gräuel haben die Leute dieses Landes getan, die vor euch waren, sodass das Land unrein wurde –,	(For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
28	damit nicht auch euch das Land ausspeie, wenn ihr es unrein macht, wie es das Volk ausgespien hat, das vor euch war.	That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.
29	Denn alle, die solche Gräuel tun, werden ausgerottet werden aus ihrem Volk.	For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
30	Darum haltet meine Satzungen, dass ihr nicht tut nach den schändlichen Sitten derer, die vor euch waren, und dadurch unrein werdet; ich bin der Herr, euer Gott.	Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the Lord your God.
