1 그때에 주께서 모세에게 이르시되, 내가 파라오에게 하는 일을 이제 네가 보리라. 강한 손으로 인해 그가 그들을 가게 하고 강한 손으로 인해 그가 그들을 자기 땅에서 쫓아내리라, 하시고 Then the Lord said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.
2 또 하나님께서 모세에게 말씀하며 그에게 이르시되, 나는 주니라. And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the Lord:
3 내가 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 하나님 곧 전능자의 이름으로는 나타났으나 나의 이름 여호와로는 그들에게 알리지 아니하였느니라. And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them.
4 또 내가 그들과 더불어 내 언약을 세워 가나안 땅 즉 그들이 나그네로 지냈던 곳, 그들의 순례의 땅을 그들에게 주기로 하였으며 And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.
5 또한 이집트 사람들이 속박한 이스라엘 자손이 신음하는 것을 내가 듣고 내 언약을 기억하였노라. And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.
6 그러므로 이스라엘 자손에게 말하기를, 나는 주니라. 내가 이집트 사람들의 짐 밑에서 너희를 빼내며 내가 그들의 속박에서 너희를 자유롭게 하고 내가 뻗은 팔과 큰 심판들로 너희를 구속하리라. Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:
7 내가 너희를 취하여 내게 한 백성으로 삼고 내가 너희에게 하나님이 되리니 내가 이집트 사람들의 짐 밑에서 너희를 빼내는 주 너희 하나님인 줄을 너희가 알리라. And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
8 내가 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 주기로 맹세한 땅으로 너희를 데리고 들어가 그 땅을 너희에게 유산으로 주리라. 나는 주니라, 하라. And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the Lord.
9 ¶모세가 이같이 이스라엘 자손에게 말하였으나 영의 고통과 잔인한 속박으로 인하여 그들이 모세의 말에 귀를 기울이지 아니하였더라. And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.
10 주께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되, And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
11 들어가서 이집트 왕 파라오에게 말하여 그가 이스라엘 자손을 그의 땅에서 내보내어 가게 하라, 하시니 Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.
12 모세가 주 앞에서 아뢰어 이르되, 보소서, 이스라엘 자손도 내 말에 귀를 기울이지 아니하였는데 어찌 파라오가 내 말을 들으리이까? 나는 할례 받지 않은 입술을 가진 자니이다, 하매 And Moses spake before the Lord, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips?
13 주께서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하시고 또 그들에게 이스라엘 자손과 이집트 왕 파라오를 향한 책무를 주시며 이스라엘 자손을 이집트 땅에서 데리고 나오게 하시니라. And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.
14 ¶그들의 조상들의 집들의 우두머리들은 이러하니라. 이스라엘의 맏아들 르우벤의 아들들은 하녹과 발루와 헤스론과 갈미니 이들은 르우벤의 가족들이요, These be the heads of their fathers’ houses: The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel; Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these be the families of Reuben.
15 시므온의 아들들은 여무엘과 야민과 오핫과 야긴과 소할과 가나안 여인의 아들 사울이니 이들은 시므온의 가족들이니라. And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman: these are the families of Simeon.
16 ¶레위의 아들들의 이름은 그들의 세대에 따라 이러하니 게르손과 고핫과 므라리요, 레위가 누린 삶의 햇수는 백삼십칠 년이었으며 And these are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari: and the years of the life of Levi were an hundred thirty and seven years.
17 게르손의 아들들은 그들의 가족들에 따라 립니와 시미요, The sons of Gershon; Libni, and Shimi, according to their families.
18 고핫의 아들들은 아므람과 이스할과 헤브론과 웃시엘이요, 고핫이 누린 삶의 햇수는 백삼십삼 년이었으며 And the sons of Kohath; Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel: and the years of the life of Kohath were an hundred thirty and three years.
19 므라리의 아들들은 마할리와 무시니 이들은 그들의 세대에 따른 레위의 가족들이니라. And the sons of Merari; Mahali and Mushi: these are the families of Levi according to their generations.
20 아므람이 자기 아버지의 누이 요게벳을 아내로 취하매 그녀가 그에게 아론과 모세를 낳으니라. 아므람이 누린 삶의 햇수는 백삼십칠 년이었더라. And Amram took him Jochebed his father’s sister to wife; and she bare him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram were an hundred and thirty and seven years.
21 ¶이스할의 아들들은 고라와 네벡과 시그리요, And the sons of Izhar; Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.
22 웃시엘의 아들들은 미사엘과 엘사반과 시드리더라. And the sons of Uzziel; Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Zithri.
23 아론이 암미나답의 딸이요, 나손의 누이인 엘리세바를 아내로 취하였고 그녀가 그에게 나답과 아비후와 엘르아살과 이다말을 낳았더라. And Aaron took him Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to wife; and she bare him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
24 고라의 아들들은 앗실과 엘가나와 아비아삽이니 이들은 고라 족속의 가족들이니라. And the sons of Korah; Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these are the families of the Korhites.
25 아론의 아들 엘르아살이 부디엘의 딸들 중에서 하나를 아내로 취하였고 그녀가 그에게 비느하스를 낳았더라. 이들은 그들의 가족들에 따른 레위 사람들의 아버지들의 우두머리들이니라. And Eleazar Aaron’s son took him one of the daughters of Putiel to wife; and she bare him Phinehas: these are the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families.
26 이스라엘 자손을 그들의 군대대로 이집트 땅에서 데리고 나오라, 하신 주의 말씀을 받은 자들은 이들 곧 그 아론과 모세요, These are that Aaron and Moses, to whom the Lord said, Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies.
27 또 이스라엘 자손을 이집트에서 데리고 나오기 위해 이집트 왕 파라오에게 말한 자들도 이들이니 이들은 그 모세와 아론이니라. These are they which spake to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt: these are that Moses and Aaron.
28 ¶주께서 이집트 땅에서 모세에게 말씀하시던 그 날에 And it came to pass on the day when the Lord spake unto Moses in the land of Egypt,
29 주께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되, 나는 주니라. 너는 내가 네게 이르는 모든 것을 이집트 왕 파라오에게 고하라, 하시니 That the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, I am the Lord: speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee.
30 모세가 주 앞에서 아뢰되, 보소서, 나는 할례 받지 않은 입술을 가진 자이온대 파라오가 어찌 내 말에 귀를 기울이리이까? 하였더라. And Moses said before the Lord, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?
