1 너는 이스라엘 자손 가운데서 네 형 아론과 그와 함께한 그의 아들들을 네게로 취하여 그가 제사장의 직무로 나를 섬기게 할지니 곧 아론과 아론의 아들들인 나답과 아비후와 엘르아살과 이다말을 취할지니라. And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.
2 너는 네 형 아론을 위하여 거룩한 의복들을 만들어 영광과 아름다움으로 삼을지니라. And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.
3 너는 마음이 지혜로운 자 곧 내가 지혜의 영으로 충만하게 한 모든 자에게 말하여 그들이 아론의 의복들을 만들어 그를 거룩히 구분하게 할지니 그리하여야 그가 제사장의 직무로 나를 섬기리라. And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron’s garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.
4 그들이 만들 의복들은 이러하니 곧 흉패와 에봇과 겉옷과 수놓은 속옷과 관과 허리띠니라. 그들이 네 형 아론과 그의 아들들을 위하여 거룩한 의복들을 만들어 그가 제사장의 직무로 나를 섬기게 할지니라. And these are the garments which they shall make; a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a broidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his sons, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.
5 그들은 금실과 청색과 자주색과 주홍색 실과 고운 아마 실을 취할지니라. And they shall take gold, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen.
6 ¶그들이 정교한 솜씨로 금실과 청색과 자주색과 주홍색 실과 가늘게 꼰 아마 실로 에봇을 만들되 And they shall make the ephod of gold, of blue, and of purple, of scarlet, and fine twined linen, with cunning work.
7 에봇의 두 어깨 조각을 에봇의 양 끝에 연결하여 이로써 그것이 같이 연결되게 할지니라. It shall have the two shoulderpieces thereof joined at the two edges thereof; and so it shall be joined together.
8 에봇 위에 있는 에봇의 정교한 허리띠는 에봇을 만드는 방법대로 에봇과 같은 것으로 만들되 금실과 청색과 자주색과 주홍색 실과 가늘게 꼰 아마 실로 만들지니라. And the curious girdle of the ephod, which is upon it, shall be of the same, according to the work thereof; even of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
9 너는 줄마노 두 개를 취하여 그것들 위에 이스라엘의 자손들의 이름들을 새기되 And thou shalt take two onyx stones, and grave on them the names of the children of Israel:
10 그들이 태어난 순서대로 그들의 여섯 이름을 한 보석에 새기고 나머지 다른 여섯 이름을 다른 보석에 새기며 Six of their names on one stone, and the other six names of the rest on the other stone, according to their birth.
11 보석에 새기는 자가 도장을 새긴 것 같이 너는 이스라엘의 자손들의 이름들을 그 두 보석에 새겨 그것들을 금으로 만든 장식 핀들에 물리고 With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engravings of a signet, shalt thou engrave the two stones with the names of the children of Israel: thou shalt make them to be set in ouches of gold.
12 그 두 보석을 에봇의 두 어깨에 붙여 이스라엘의 자손들을 위한 기념 보석이 되게 하되 아론이 주 앞에서 자기의 두 어깨에 그들의 이름들을 메어 기념이 되게 할지니라. And thou shalt put the two stones upon the shoulders of the ephod for stones of memorial unto the children of Israel: and Aaron shall bear their names before the Lord upon his two shoulders for a memorial.
13 ¶너는 금으로 장식 핀들을 만들고 And thou shalt make ouches of gold;
14 양 끝에 순금으로 사슬 두 개를 만들되 꼬아서 만들며 그 꼰 사슬들을 장식 핀들에 달지니라. And two chains of pure gold at the ends; of wreathen work shalt thou make them, and fasten the wreathen chains to the ouches.
15 ¶너는 판결의 흉패를 정교한 솜씨로 만들되 에봇을 만드는 방법대로 그것을 만들고 금실과 청색과 자주색과 주홍색 실과 가늘게 꼰 아마 실로 만들며 And thou shalt make the breastplate of judgment with cunning work; after the work of the ephod thou shalt make it; of gold, of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine twined linen, shalt thou make it.
16 또 그것을 두 겹으로 네모반듯하게 만들되 그것의 길이가 한 뼘, 너비가 한 뼘이 되게 할지니라. Foursquare it shall be being doubled; a span shall be the length thereof, and a span shall be the breadth thereof.
17 너는 흉패에 보석 물린 것 즉 보석 네 줄을 달되 첫째 줄은 홍보석과 황옥과 석류석으로 하라. 첫째 줄은 이러할지니라. And thou shalt set in it settings of stones, even four rows of stones: the first row shall be a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this shall be the first row.
18 둘째 줄은 에메랄드와 사파이어와 다이아몬드로, And the second row shall be an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.
19 셋째 줄은 호박과 마노와 자수정으로, And the third row a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.
20 넷째 줄은 녹주석과 줄마노와 벽옥으로 하고 그것들을 그것들의 틀에 넣고 금으로 물릴지니라. And the fourth row a beryl, and an onyx, and a jasper: they shall be set in gold in their inclosings.
21 또 그 보석들은 이스라엘의 자손들의 이름들 곧 그들의 이름들에 따라 열두 개며 도장을 새긴 것 같이 만들지니 즉 그것들이 각각 그 열두 지파에 따라 각각의 이름을 지니게 할지니라. And the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes.
22 ¶너는 흉패 위에 순금으로 꼰 것의 끝에 사슬들을 만들고 And thou shalt make upon the breastplate chains at the ends of wreathen work of pure gold.
23 또 흉패 위에 금 고리 두 개를 만들어 흉패의 두 끝에 그 두 고리를 달며 And thou shalt make upon the breastplate two rings of gold, and shalt put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.
24 흉패의 끝에 있는 두 개의 고리에 금으로 꼰 두 개의 사슬을 달고 And thou shalt put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings which are on the ends of the breastplate.
25 그 두 개의 꼰 사슬의 다른 두 끝을 두 개의 장식 핀에 고정시키며 그것들을 에봇의 앞쪽에 있는 에봇의 어깨 조각들에 달지니라. And the other two ends of the two wreathen chains thou shalt fasten in the two ouches, and put them on the shoulderpieces of the ephod before it.
26 ¶너는 금 고리 두 개를 만들어 에봇의 안쪽에 있는 흉패(胸牌)의 가장자리에 흉패의 두 끝에 달고 And thou shalt make two rings of gold, and thou shalt put them upon the two ends of the breastplate in the border thereof, which is in the side of the ephod inward.
27 또 다른 금 고리 두 개를 만들어 에봇의 앞쪽으로 에봇 밑의 양쪽에 달되 그것의 다른 연결부의 맞은편 곧 정교하게 짠 에봇의 허리띠 위에 달며 And two other rings of gold thou shalt make, and shalt put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward the forepart thereof, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.
28 청색 끈과 함께 흉패의 고리들과 에봇의 고리들을 써서 흉패를 묶어 그것이 정교하게 짠 에봇의 허리띠 위에 있게 하고 흉패가 에봇에서 떨어지지 않게 할지니라. And they shall bind the breastplate by the rings thereof unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate be not loosed from the ephod.
29 아론이 성소에 들어갈 때에는 자기 가슴에 놓인 판결의 흉패에 이스라엘의 자손들의 이름들을 지니고 들어가 주 앞에서 항상 기념물로 삼을지니라. And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he goeth in unto the holy place, for a memorial before the Lord continually.
30 ¶너는 우림과 둠밈을 판결의 흉패 안에 넣어 아론이 주 앞에 들어갈 때에 그의 가슴 위에 그것들이 있게 할지니라. 또 아론은 주 앞에서 이스라엘의 자손들에 대한 판결을 항상 자기 가슴 위에 둘지니라. And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron’s heart, when he goeth in before the Lord: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before the Lord continually.
31 ¶너는 에봇에 받쳐 입을 겉옷을 전부 청색으로 만들며 And thou shalt make the robe of the ephod all of blue.
32 그것의 한가운데에, 그것의 꼭대기에 구멍을 내고 사슬 갑옷의 구멍처럼 그 구멍 주위에 짜서 만든 것으로 돌아가며 가를 둘러 그것이 찢어지지 않게 할지니라. And there shall be an hole in the top of it, in the midst thereof: it shall have a binding of woven work round about the hole of it, as it were the hole of an habergeon, that it be not rent.
33 ¶너는 그 옷의 단 밑으로 단의 주위로 돌아가며 청색과 자주색과 주홍색 실로 석류들을 만들고 또 돌아가며 석류들 사이에 금방울을 달되 And beneath upon the hem of it thou shalt make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, round about the hem thereof; and bells of gold between them round about:
34 그 겉옷의 단 주위로 돌아가며 금방울 하나 석류 하나, 금방울 하나 석류 하나를 달지니라. A golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe round about.
35 그것은 아론이 섬기기 위하여 입을지니라. 그가 주 앞의 성소에 들어갈 때와 나올 때에 그의 소리가 들리게 할지니 그리하여야 그가 죽지 아니하리라. And it shall be upon Aaron to minister: and his sound shall be heard when he goeth in unto the holy place before the Lord, and when he cometh out, that he die not.
36 ¶너는 순금으로 패를 만들어 도장을 새긴 것 같이 그 위에 주께 거룩한 것이라 새기고 And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.
37 그 패를 청색 띠 위에 놓아 그것이 관 위에 있게 하되 관의 맨 앞에 있게 할지니라. And thou shalt put it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be.
38 또 그 패를 아론의 이마에 두어 이스라엘의 자손들이 그들의 모든 거룩한 예물로 거룩하게 할 그 거룩한 것들에 대한 불법을 아론이 담당하게 할지니라. 그 패가 항상 그의 이마에 있을지니 그리하여야 주가 그것들을 받으리라. And it shall be upon Aaron’s forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the Lord.
39 ¶너는 고운 아마로 속옷을 수놓아 만들고 고운 아마로 관을 만들며 바느질로 허리띠를 만들지니라. And thou shalt embroider the coat of fine linen, and thou shalt make the mitre of fine linen, and thou shalt make the girdle of needlework.
40 ¶너는 아론의 아들들을 위하여 속옷을 만들고 그들을 위하여 허리띠를 만들며 그들을 위하여 모자를 만들어 영화롭고 아름답게 할지니라. And for Aaron’s sons thou shalt make coats, and thou shalt make for them girdles, and bonnets shalt thou make for them, for glory and for beauty.
41 너는 그것들을 네 형 아론과 그와 함께한 그의 아들들에게 입히며 그들에게 기름을 부어 그들을 거룩히 구분하고 거룩히 구별하여 그들이 제사장의 직무로 나를 섬기게 할 것이며 And thou shalt put them upon Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him; and shalt anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office.
42 또 그들을 위하여 아마로 반바지들을 만들고 그것들이 허리에서부터 넓적다리에까지 이르게 하여 그들의 벌거벗음을 덮게 할지니라. And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach:
43 아론과 그의 아들들은 회중의 성막에 들어갈 때에나 제단에 가까이 나아와 성소에서 섬길 때에 그것들을 입을지니 그리하여야 그들이 불법을 담당한 채 죽지 아니하리라. 그것은 그와 그의 뒤를 이을 그의 씨에게 영원한 법규가 될지니라. And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they come in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, or when they come near unto the altar to minister in the holy place; that they bear not iniquity, and die: it shall be a statute for ever unto him and his seed after him.
