| 1 | 하늘에 큰 이적이 나타나니라. 한 여자가 해로 옷 입고 있는데 그녀의 발아래에는 달이 있고 그녀의 머리 위에는 열두 별의 관이 있더라. | And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: |
| 2 | 그녀가 아이를 배어 해산의 고통을 겪는 가운데 울부짖으며 출산하려고 진통을 겪더라. | And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. |
| 3 | 하늘에 또 다른 이적이 나타나니라. 보라, 일곱 머리와 열 뿔을 가진 큰 붉은 용이 있는데 그의 머리들 위에 일곱 개의 관이 있으며 | And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. |
| 4 | 그의 꼬리가 하늘의 별들 중 삼분의 일을 끌어다가 땅에 내던지더라. 용이 막 해산하려고 하는 그 여자 앞에 서서 그녀의 아이가 태어나면 곧 그 아이를 삼키고자 하더라. | And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. |

| 6 | 그 여자가 광야로 도피하니라. 거기에 하나님께서 예비하신 한 처소가 그녀에게 있으니 이것은 그들이 천이백육십 일 동안 거기서 그녀를 먹이게 하려 하심이더라. | And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. |

| 8 | 이기지 못하고 또 하늘에서 자기들의 처소를 더 이상 찾지 못하더라. | And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. |
| 9 | 그 큰 용 즉 저 옛 뱀 곧 마귀라고도 하고 사탄이라고도 하며 온 세상을 속이는 자가 내쫓기더라. 그가 땅으로 내쫓기니 그의 천사들도 그와 함께 내쫓기니라. | And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. |
| 10 | 또 내가 들으니 하늘에 큰 음성이 있어 이르되, 이제 구원과 힘과 우리 하나님의 왕국과 그분의 그리스도의 권능이 임하였도다. 우리 형제들을 고소하는 자 곧 우리 하나님 앞에서 밤낮으로 그들을 고소하던 자가 쫓겨났도다. | And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. |
| 11 | 그들이 어린양의 피와 자기들의 증언의 말로 그를 이기었으며 그들은 죽기까지 자기 생명을 사랑하지 아니하였도다. | And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. |
| 12 | 그러므로 하늘들과 그것들 안에 거하는 자들아, 너희는 즐거워하라. 땅과 바다에 거하는 자들에게 화가 있으리로다! 마귀가 자기 때가 조금만 남은 줄 알므로 크게 진노하여 너희에게로 내려갔도다, 하더라. | Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. |
| 13 | 용이 자기가 땅으로 내쫓긴 것을 보고 사내아이를 낳은 그 여자를 핍박하더라. | And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. |
| 14 | 그 여자가 큰 독수리의 두 날개를 받았으니 이것은 그녀가 광야 곧 그녀의 처소로 날아가 거기서 그 뱀의 얼굴을 피하여 한 때와 두 때와 반 때 동안 양육 받게 하려 함이라. | And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. |
| 15 | 뱀이 자기 입에서 여자의 뒤로 물을 홍수같이 내뿜어 그녀를 홍수에 떠내려가게 하려 하되 | And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. |
| 16 | 땅이 여자를 도와 자기 입을 벌려 용이 그의 입에서 내뿜은 홍수를 삼키니 | And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. |
| 17 | 용이 여자에게 진노하여 그녀의 씨 중에서 남은 자들 곧 하나님의 명령들을 지키고 예수 그리스도의 증언을 가진 자들과 전쟁을 하려고 가니라. | And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. |
