| 1 | 주의 말씀이 또 내게 임하니라. 이르시되, | The word of the Lord came also unto me, saying, |
| 2 | 너는 이곳에서 아내를 취하지 말고 아들딸들도 두지 말지니라. | Thou shalt not take thee a wife, neither shalt thou have sons or daughters in this place. |
| 3 | 이곳에서 태어난 아들딸들과 이 땅에서 그들을 해산한 어머니들과 그들을 낳은 아버지들에 대하여 주가 이같이 말하노라. | For thus saith the Lord concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bare them, and concerning their fathers that begat them in this land; |
| 4 | 그들이 괴로운 죽음으로 죽으리니 그들이 애도 받지 못하리로다. 그들은 묻히지도 못하고 지면에서 배설물같이 되며 칼과 기근에 소멸되고 그들의 사체는 하늘의 날짐승들과 땅의 짐승들의 먹이가 되리라. | They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcases shall be meat for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth. |
| 5 | 주가 이같이 말하노라. 애곡하는 집에 들어가지 말라. 내가 이 백성에게서 나의 평강 곧 인자함과 긍휼을 제거하였은즉 가서 그들을 위하여 슬퍼하지도 말며 탄식하지도 말라. 주가 말하노라. | For thus saith the Lord, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith the Lord, even lovingkindness and mercies. |
| 6 | 큰 자나 작은 자나 다 이 땅에서 죽으리니 그들이 묻히지 못하며 사람들이 그들을 위해 슬퍼하지 아니하고 그들을 위해 자기 몸을 베거나 자기 몸을 밀지도 아니하리라. | Both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them: |
| 7 | 또 사람들이 그 죽은 자들로 인하여 그들을 위로하려고 애곡하면서 그들을 위해 자기 몸을 찢지도 아니하며 그들의 아버지나 어머니를 위해 그들에게 위로의 잔을 주어 마시게 하지도 아니하리라. | Neither shall men tear themselves for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother. |
| 8 | 너는 또한 잔칫집에 들어가 그들과 함께 앉아서 먹거나 마시지 말라. | Thou shalt not also go into the house of feasting, to sit with them to eat and to drink. |
| 9 | 만군의 주 곧 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 보라, 내가 너희 시대에 너희 눈이 보는 데서 환희의 소리와 기쁨의 소리와 신랑의 소리와 신부의 소리가 이곳에서 그치게 하리라. | For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride. |
| 10 | ¶네가 이 백성에게 이 모든 말을 알려 줄 때에 그들이 네게 말하기를, 어찌하여 주께서 우리를 치시려고 이 모든 큰 재앙을 선포하셨느냐? 우리의 불법이 무엇이냐? 우리가 주 우리 하나님께 범한 우리의 죄가 무엇이냐? 하거든 | And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the Lord pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the Lord our God? |
| 11 | 너는 그들에게 말하기를, 주가 말하노라. 그 까닭은 너희 조상들이 나를 버리고 다른 신들을 따라 걸으며 그들을 섬기고 그들에게 경배하며 나를 버리고 내 법을 지키지 아니하였기 때문이라. | Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the Lord, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law; |
| 12 | 너희가 너희 조상들보다 더 악하게 행하였나니, 보라, 너희 각 사람이 자기의 악한 마음에서 상상하는 대로 걷는도다. 그들이 내 말에 귀를 기울이지 아니하나니 | And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me: |
| 13 | 그러므로 내가 너희를 이 땅에서 쫓아내어 너희가 알지 못하는 땅 곧 너희와 너희 조상들이 알지 못하는 땅에 이르게 하리라. 너희가 거기서 밤낮으로 다른 신들을 섬길 것이요, 내가 거기서 너희에게 호의를 베풀지 아니하리라, 하라. | Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour. |
| 14 | ¶주가 말하노라. 그런즉, 보라, 날들이 이르리니 다시는 말하기를, 이스라엘 자손을 이집트 땅에서 데리고 올라오신 주께서 살아 계신다, 하지 아니하고 | Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that it shall no more be said, The Lord liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; |
| 15 | 오히려 말하기를, 이스라엘 자손을 북쪽 땅과 모든 땅 곧 친히 그들을 쫓아내어 머물게 한 모든 땅에서 데리고 올라오신 주께서 살아 계신다, 하리라. 내가 그들을 그들의 조상들에게 준 그들의 땅으로 다시 데려가리라. | But, The Lord liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers. |
| 16 | ¶주가 말하노라. 보라, 내가 사람을 보내어 많은 어부를 데려다가 그들을 낚게 할 것이요, 그 뒤에 사람을 보내어 많은 사냥꾼을 데려다가 모든 산과 모든 언덕과 바위 굴에서 그들을 사냥하게 하리니 | Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the Lord, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks. |
| 17 | 내 눈이 그들의 모든 길 위에 있으므로 그들이 내 얼굴을 떠나 숨지 못하며 그들의 불법이 내 눈에 숨겨지지 못하느니라. | For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes. |
| 18 | 그들이 내 땅을 더럽히며 자기들의 역겹고 가증한 것들의 사체들로 내 상속 재산을 가득 채웠으므로 내가 우선 그들의 불법과 그들의 죄를 두 배로 갚으리라. | And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things. |
| 19 | 오 주여, 나의 힘이시요, 나의 요새시요, 고통의 날에 나의 피난처시여, 이방인들이 땅 끝에서부터 주께 이르러 말하기를, 분명히 우리 조상들이 거짓된 것과 헛된 것과 유익이 없는 것들을 상속받았나이다. | O Lord, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. |
| 20 | 사람이 신이 아닌 것들을 자기를 위해 신으로 삼겠나이까? 하리이다. | Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods? |
| 21 | 그런즉, 보라, 내가 이번에 그들에게 알리리니 곧 내가 그들에게 내 손과 내 능력을 알리리라. 그리하면 내 이름이 주인 줄 그들이 알리라. | Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The Lord. |
