| 1 | 오 주 우리 주여, 주의 이름이 온 땅에 어찌 그리 뛰어나신지요! 주께서 주의 영광을 하늘들 위에 두셨나이다. | O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. |
| 2 | 주께서 주의 원수들로 인하여 아기들과 젖먹이들의 입에서 힘이 나오게 정하셨나니 이것은 주께서 원수와 복수하는 자를 잠잠하게 하려 하심이니이다. | Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. |
| 3 | 주의 하늘들 곧 주의 손가락으로 지으신 작품과 주께서 정하신 달과 별들을 내가 깊이 생각하오니 | When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; |
| 4 | 사람이 무엇이기에 주께서 그를 생각 속에 깊이 두시나이까? 사람의 아들이 무엇이기에 주께서 그를 찾아오시나이까? | What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? |
| 5 | 주께서 그를 천사들보다 조금 낮게 만드시고 그에게 영광과 존귀로 관을 씌우셨나이다. | For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. |
| 6 | 주께서 그로 하여금 주의 손으로 지으신 것들을 지배하게 하시고 모든 것을 그의 발아래 두셨사오니 | Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: |
