| 1 | 내가 내 목소리로 하나님께 부르짖으며 내 목소리로 하나님께 부르짖으니 그분께서 내게 귀를 기울이셨도다. | I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me. |
| 2 | 내 고난의 날에 내가 주를 찾았나니 나의 아픈 상처가 밤에 생기고 멈추지 아니하매 내 혼이 위로받기를 거절하였도다. | In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted. |
| 3 | 내가 하나님을 기억하고도 괴로워서 하소연하였으며 내 영은 짓눌렸도다. 셀라. | I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah. |
| 4 | 주께서 내 눈을 붙드사 깨어 있게 하시니 내가 심히 괴로워서 말도 할 수 없나이다. | Thou holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak. |
| 5 | 내가 옛날 곧 오래된 시대의 여러 해를 깊이 생각하였사오며 | I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times. |
| 6 | 밤에 부른 나의 노래를 기억하고 내 마음과 이야기하며 내 영이 부지런히 살펴 이르기를, | I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search. |
| 7 | 주께서 영원히 버리실까? 그분께서 다시는 호의를 베풀지 아니하실까? | Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more? |
| 8 | 그분의 긍휼은 영원토록 깨끗이 사라졌는가? 그분의 약속은 영원히 끊어졌는가? | Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore? |
| 9 | 하나님께서 은혜 베푸시는 것을 잊으셨는가? 그분께서 분노하사 자신의 친절한 긍휼을 닫으셨는가? 하였나이다. 셀라. | Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah. |
| 10 | 또 내가 말하기를, 이것이 나의 연약함이라, 하였으되 내가 지극히 높으신 이의 오른손의 여러 해를 기억하리이다. | And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High. |
| 11 | 내가 주께서 행하신 일들을 기억하리니 참으로 주께서 옛적에 행하신 이적들을 기억하리이다. | I will remember the works of the Lord: surely I will remember thy wonders of old. |
| 12 | 내가 또한 주의 모든 일을 묵상하고 주께서 행하신 일을 이야기하리이다. | I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings. |
| 13 | 오 하나님이여, 주의 길이 성소에 있사오니 누가 우리 하나님같이 위대하신 하나님이니이까? | Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God? |
| 14 | 주는 이적들을 행하시는 하나님이시니 주께서 주의 능력을 백성 가운데 밝히 보이셨으며 | Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people. |
| 15 | 주의 팔로 주의 백성 곧 야곱과 요셉의 아들들을 구속하였나이다. 셀라. | Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah. |
| 16 | 오 하나님이여, 물들이 주를 보았나이다. 물들이 주를 보고 무서워하며 깊음들도 소동하였나이다. | The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled. |
| 17 | 구름들이 물을 쏟고 하늘들이 소리를 보내며 주의 화살들도 널리 날아갔나이다. | The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad. |
| 18 | 주의 천둥소리가 하늘에 있으며 번개들이 세상을 비추니 땅이 떨고 흔들렸나이다. | The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook. |
| 19 | 주의 길이 바다에 있으며 주의 행로가 큰물들에 있으니 주의 발자취는 알 수 없나이다. | Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known. |
| 20 | 주께서 주의 백성을 양 떼같이 모세와 아론의 손으로 인도하셨나이다. | Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron. |
