| 1 | 가난한 자를 배려하는 자는 복이 있나니 주께서 고난의 때에 그를 건지시리로다. | Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. |
| 2 | 주께서 그를 보존하시고 지키사 살게 하시리니 그가 땅에서 복을 받으리라. 주께서 그를 그의 원수들의 뜻에 넘겨주지 아니하시리이다. | The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. |
| 3 | 주께서 쇠약하여 침상에 있는 그를 강건하게 하시고 그가 병들었을 때에 주께서 그의 모든 잠자리를 만들어 주시리이다. | The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness. |
| 4 | 내가 말하기를, 주여, 내게 긍휼을 베푸소서. 내가 주께 죄를 지었사오니 내 혼을 고치소서, 하였나이다. | I said, Lord, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee. |
| 5 | 나의 원수들이 나에 대하여 악담하기를, 그가 어느 때에나 죽고 그의 이름이 사라질까? 하며 | Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish? |
| 6 | 또 그가 나를 보러 와서는 허망한 것을 말하나이다. 그의 마음이 스스로 불법을 모으매 그가 두루 다니며 그것을 말하나이다. | And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it. |
| 7 | 나를 미워하는 모든 자들이 나를 향해 함께 수군거리고 나를 쳐서 해치려고 꾀하며 | All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt. |
| 8 | 말하기를, 나쁜 병이 그에게 굳게 달라붙어 이제 그가 누웠으니 다시는 일어나지 못하리라, 하고 | An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more. |
| 9 | 참으로 내가 신뢰한 나의 친한 친구 곧 내 빵을 먹은 자가 자기 발꿈치를 들어 나를 대적하였나이다. | Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me. |
| 10 | 그러나, 오 주여, 주께서 내게 긍휼을 베푸시고 나를 일으키사 내가 그들에게 보복하게 하소서. | But thou, O Lord, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them. |
| 11 | 내 원수가 나를 누르고 이기지 못하리니 이로써 주께서 내게 호의를 베푸시는 줄을 내가 아나이다. | By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me. |
| 12 | 나로 말하건대 주께서 나의 순전함 가운데서 나를 떠받치시고 영원히 주의 얼굴 앞에 세우시나이다. | And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever. |
| 13 | 주 이스라엘의 하나님을 영원부터 영원까지 찬송하리로다. 아멘, 아멘. | Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen. |
