| 2 | 영 안에 간사함이 없고 주께서 불법을 인정하지 아니하는 사람은 복이 있도다. | Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. |
| 3 | 내가 잠잠할 때에 하루 종일 신음하였으므로 내 뼈가 쇠하였나니 | When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. |
| 4 | 밤낮으로 주의 손이 나를 무겁게 누르므로 내 진액이 여름 가뭄으로 변하였나이다. 셀라. | For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah. |

| 9 | 너희는 지각이 없는 말이나 노새같이 되지 말지어다. 그것들의 입은 반드시 재갈과 굴레로 붙들어야 하나니 그리하여야 그것들이 네게 가까이 가지 아니하리라. | Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee. |
