1 나의 하나님이여, 나의 하나님이여, 어찌하여 나를 버리셨나이까? 어찌하여 나를 돕는 일로부터 또 나의 울부짖는 말로부터 멀리 떨어져 계시나이까? My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
2 오 나의 하나님이여, 내가 낮에 부르짖으나 주께서 듣지 아니하시나이다. 밤에도 내가 잠잠하지 아니하나이다. O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
3 그러나, 오 이스라엘의 찬양 가운데 거주하시는 주여, 주는 거룩하시니이다. But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
4 우리 조상들이 주를 신뢰하고 신뢰하였으므로 주께서 그들을 건지셨나이다. Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.
5 그들이 주께 부르짖어 구출을 받았고 주를 신뢰하여 당황하지 아니하였나이다. They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.
6 그러나 나는 벌레요 사람이 아니오니 사람들의 비방거리요 백성의 멸시거리이니이다. But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
7 나를 보는 모든 자들이 나를 비웃으며 입술을 내밀고 머리를 흔들며 말하기를, All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
8 그가 주를 신뢰하여 그분께서 자기를 건지실 줄로 믿었도다. 그분께서 그를 기뻐하셨으니 그를 건지시리로다, 하나이다. He trusted on the Lord that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.
9 그러나 주는 곧 나를 태에서 꺼내신 그분이시니 내가 내 어머니의 젖가슴에 있을 때에 주께서 나로 하여금 소망을 갖게 하셨나이다. But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother’s breasts.
10 내가 태에서부터 주께 맡겨졌으며 내 어머니 배 속에서부터 주는 나의 하나님이시니이다. I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother’s belly.
11 나를 멀리하지 마옵소서. 고난이 가까이 있으나 도울 자가 없나이다. Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.
12 많은 황소들이 나를 에워싸며 바산의 힘센 황소들이 나를 둘러싸고 Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
13 그들이 약탈하며 울부짖는 사자같이 나를 향해 입을 벌렸나이다. They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.
14 나는 물같이 쏟아졌고 내 모든 뼈는 어그러졌으며 내 심장은 밀초같이 되어 내장 한가운데서 녹았나이다. I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
15 내 힘은 질그릇 조각같이 마르고 내 혀는 내 턱에 붙나이다. 주께서 또 나를 사망의 티끌 속에 두셨나니 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
16 개들이 나를 에워싸며 사악한 자들의 무리가 나를 둘러싸고 내 손과 발을 찔렀나이다. For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
17 내가 내 모든 뼈를 셀 수 있나이다. 그들이 나를 쳐다보고 노려보며 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
18 자기들끼리 내 옷들을 나누고 내 겉옷을 놓고 제비를 뽑나이다. They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
19 그러나, 오 주여, 주는 나를 멀리하지 마옵소서. 오 나의 힘이시여, 속히 나를 도우소서. But be not thou far from me, O Lord: O my strength, haste thee to help me.
20 내 혼을 칼에서 건지시며 내 사랑하는 것을 개의 권세에서 건지소서. Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.
21 나를 사자의 입에서 구원하소서. 주께서 내 말을 들으사 나를 유니콘들의 뿔들에서 벗어나게 하셨나이다. Save me from the lion’s mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.
22 내가 주의 이름을 내 형제들에게 밝히 보이고 회중의 한가운데서 주를 찬양하리이다. I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.
23 주를 두려워하는 자들아, 너희는 그분을 찬양하라. 야곱의 모든 씨야, 너희는 그분께 영광을 돌릴지어다. 이스라엘의 모든 씨야, 너희는 그분을 두려워할지어다. Ye that fear the Lord, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.
24 그분께서 고난 받는 자의 고난을 멸시하거나 몹시 싫어하지 아니하셨으며 자신의 얼굴을 그에게 숨기지 아니하시고 그가 그분께 부르짖을 때에 그분께서 들으셨도다. For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
25 큰 회중 가운데서 드릴 나의 찬양은 주로부터 나오리이다. 그분을 두려워하는 자들 앞에서 내가 나의 서원들을 갚으리로다. My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.
26 온유한 자들은 먹고 만족할 것이며 주를 찾는 자들은 그분을 찬양할 것이요, 너희 마음은 영원히 살리로다. The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the Lord that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.
27 세상의 모든 끝이 기억하고 주께로 돌아오며 민족들의 모든 족속이 주 앞에 경배하리니 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
28 왕국은 주의 것이요, 그분은 민족들 가운데서 다스리는 이시로다. For the kingdom is the Lord’s: and he is the governor among the nations.
29 땅 위의 모든 기름진 자들이 먹고 경배할 것이요, 흙으로 내려가는 모든 자들이 그분 앞에 절하리니 아무도 자기 혼을 지켜 살아남게 하지 못하리로다. All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.
30 한 씨가 그분을 섬기리니 주께서 그것을 한 세대로 여기시리라. A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.
31 그들이 와서 앞으로 태어날 한 백성에게 그분의 의를 밝히 드러내되 그분께서 이것을 행하셨음을 드러내리로다. They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.
