| 1 | 오 주여, 어찌하여 멀리 서 계시나이까? 어찌하여 고난의 때에 숨으시나이까? | Why standest thou afar off, O Lord? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble? |
| 2 | 사악한 자가 교만하여 가난한 자를 핍박하오니 그들로 하여금 자기들이 꾀한 계략들에 빠지게 하소서. | The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined. |
| 3 | 사악한 자가 자기 마음의 욕망을 자랑하며 탐욕을 부리는 자 곧 주께서 몹시 싫어하시는 자를 축복하나이다. | For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the Lord abhorreth. |
| 4 | 사악한 자는 자기 얼굴의 교만으로 인하여 하나님을 찾지 아니하리니 그의 모든 생각 속에는 하나님이 없나이다. | The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. |
| 5 | 그의 길들은 항상 고통을 주고 주의 심판들은 너무 높아서 그에게 보이지 아니하나니 그의 모든 원수들로 말하건대 그가 그들 앞에서 우쭐대나이다. | His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them. |
| 6 | 그가 마음속으로 이르기를, 나는 결코 역경에 처하지 아니할 터인즉 흔들리지 아니하리라, 하였나이다. | He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity. |
| 7 | 그의 입은 저주와 속임과 사기로 가득하며 그의 혀 밑에는 해악과 헛됨이 있나이다. | His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity. |
| 8 | 그가 마을의 숨는 곳에 앉으며 그 은밀한 곳에서 죄 없는 자를 죽이고 그의 눈은 몰래 가난한 자를 향해 고정되었나이다. | He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor. |

| 11 | 그가 마음속으로 이르기를, 하나님이 잊으셨고 그분께서 자기 얼굴을 가리시나니 그분은 결코 그것을 보지 아니하시리라, 하였나이다. | He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it. |
| 12 | 오 주여, 일어나소서. 오 하나님이여, 주의 손을 드시고 겸손한 자를 잊지 마옵소서. | Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble. |
| 13 | 어찌하여 사악한 자가 하나님을 경멸하나이까? 그가 마음속으로 이르기를, 주께서 그것을 요구하지 아니하시리라, 하였나이다. | Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it. |
| 14 | 주께서 그것을 보셨나이다. 주께서는 해악과 악의를 바라보시며 주의 손으로 그것을 벌하시나이다. 가난한 자가 자기를 주께 맡기나니 주는 아버지 없는 자를 돕는 분이시니이다. | Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless. |
| 15 | 주께서 사악한 자와 악한 사람의 팔을 꺾으소서. 주께서 그의 사악함을 전혀 찾을 수 없을 때까지 찾으소서. | Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none. |
| 16 | 주께서는 영원무궁토록 왕이시니 이교도들이 그분의 땅에서 멸망하였도다. | The Lord is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land. |

| 18 | 아버지 없는 자와 학대받는 자를 위해 재판하사 땅에 속한 사람이 다시는 학대하지 못하게 하시리이다. | To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress. |
