| 1 | 보라, 화덕같이 불태우는 날이 임하나니 참으로 교만한 모든 자와 악하게 행하는 모든 자가 지푸라기가 되리라. 다가오는 그 날이 그들을 불태우고 그들에게 뿌리와 가지를 남기지 아니하리라. 만군의 주가 말하노라. | For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. |
| 2 | ¶그러나 내 이름을 두려워하는 너희에게는 의의 해가 자기 날개들 안에 병 고치는 능력을 가지고 떠오르리니 너희가 나아가서 외양간의 송아지들같이 자라리라. | But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. |

| 6 | 그가 아버지들의 마음을 자녀들에게로 돌아오게 하며 자녀들의 마음을 그들의 아버지들에게로 돌아오게 하여 내가 와서 저주로 그 땅을 치지 아니하게 하리라. | And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. |
