1 안식일이 지났을 때에 막달라 마리아와 야고보의 어머니 마리아와 또 살로메가 가서 그분께 기름을 바르려고 이미 향품을 사 두었더라. And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
2 주의 첫날 매우 이른 아침 곧 해 돋을 때에 그들이 돌무덤에 가며 And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.
3 자기들끼리 이르되, 누가 우리를 위하여 돌무덤 입구에서 돌을 굴려 주리요? 하고 And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?
4 바라볼 때에 돌이 이미 굴려져 있음을 보았으니 이는 그 돌이 심히 컸기 때문이더라. And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.
5 그들이 돌무덤에 들어가 긴 흰옷을 입은 한 청년이 오른쪽에 앉아 있는 것을 보고 놀라매 And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.
6 그가 그들에게 이르되, 놀라지 말라. 너희가 십자가에 못 박히신 나사렛 예수님을 찾는구나. 그분은 일어나셨고 여기 계시지 아니하니라. 그들이 그분을 두었던 곳을 보라. And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
7 그러나 너희 길로 가서 그분의 제자들과 베드로에게 그분께서 너희보다 먼저 갈릴리로 가시나니 그분께서 너희에게 말씀하신 대로 너희가 거기서 그분을 볼 것이라고 고하라, 하니라. But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.
8 그들이 떨며 놀라서 급히 나와 돌무덤에서 도망하고 두려워서 아무에게 아무 말도 하지 못하더라. And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.
9 ¶이제 예수님께서 주의 첫날에 일찍 일어나신 뒤에 전에 친히 몸속에서 일곱 마귀를 내쫓아 주신 막달라 마리아에게 처음으로 나타나시니라. Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
10 그녀가 가서 그분과 함께하던 사람들이 애곡하며 슬피 울고 있을 때에 그들에게 고하였는데 And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
11 그들은 그분께서 살아 계시다는 것과 그녀에게 보이셨다는 것을 듣고도 믿지 아니하니라. And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.
12 ¶그 뒤에 그들 중의 두 사람이 걸어서 시골로 갈 때에 그분께서 다른 모습으로 그들에게 나타나시니라. After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.
13 그들이 가서 남은 사람들에게 그것을 고하되 그들 역시 믿지 아니하니라. And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.
14 ¶그 뒤에 열한 제자가 음식 앞에 앉았을 때에 그분께서 그들에게 나타나사 그들이 믿지 아니하는 것과 마음이 강퍅한 것을 꾸짖으시니 이는 그분께서 일어나신 뒤에 그분을 본 자들의 말을 그들이 믿지 아니하였기 때문이더라. Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.
15 그분께서 그들에게 이르시되, 너희는 온 세상에 가서 모든 창조물에게 복음을 선포하라. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 믿고 침례를 받는 자는 구원을 받으려니와 믿지 않는 자는 정죄를 받으리라. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 믿는 자들에게는 이런 표적들이 따르리니 곧 내 이름으로 그들이 마귀들을 내쫓으며 새 언어들로 말하며 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 뱀들을 집어 올리며 어떤 치명적인 것을 마실지라도 해를 받지 아니하며 병든 사람들에게 안수하면 그들이 나으리라, 하시더라. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 ¶이렇게 주께서 그들에게 말씀하신 뒤에 하늘로 올려져서 영접을 받으시고 하나님 오른편에 앉으시니라. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 그들이 나아가서 모든 곳에서 복음을 선포하매 주께서 그들과 함께 일하시며 따르는 표적들로 말씀을 확증해 주시니라. 아멘. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
