| 1 | 주께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되, | And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |
| 2 | 이스라엘 자손에게 말하여 이르라. 여인이 씨를 수태하여 사내아이를 낳으면 이레 동안 부정하리니 곧 분리하는 날들과 같이 그녀가 자기의 연약함으로 인해 부정할 것이며 | Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean. |
| 3 | 여덟째 날에는 그 아이의 포피 살을 베어 할례를 행할 것이요, | And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised. |
| 4 | 그 뒤에 그 여인은 삼십삼 일 동안 자기를 정결하게 하는 피 안에 머무를 것이며 자기를 정결하게 하는 날들을 채울 때까지는 거룩한 것을 만지지도 말고 성소에 들어가지도 말지니라. | And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled. |
| 5 | 그러나 그녀가 여자아이를 낳으면 그녀의 분리 기간과 같이 두 이레 동안 부정하리니 그녀가 육십육 일 동안 자기를 정결하게 하는 피 안에 머무를지니라. | But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days. |
| 6 | 아들을 위해서든 딸을 위해서든 그녀를 정결하게 하는 날들을 채우면 그녀는 일 년 된 어린양을 번제 헌물로 취하고 또 집비둘기 새끼나 산비둘기를 죄 헌물로 취하여 회중의 성막 문으로 제사장에게로 가져갈 것이요, | And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest: |
| 7 | 제사장은 그것을 주 앞에 드려서 그녀를 위해 속죄할지니 그리하면 그녀가 자기의 피 유출에서 정결하게 되리라. 이것은 남자나 여자를 낳은 여인에 관한 법이니라. | Who shall offer it before the Lord, and make an atonement for her; and she shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood. This is the law for her that hath born a male or a female. |
| 8 | 그녀가 어린양을 가져올 능력이 없거든 산비둘기 두 마리나 집비둘기 새끼 두 마리를 가져다가 하나는 번제 헌물로 다른 하나는 죄 헌물로 삼을 것이요, 제사장은 그녀를 위해 속죄할지니 그리하면 그녀가 정결하게 되리라. | And if she be not able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for her, and she shall be clean. |
