| 11 | 너는 반드시 그들의 입을 막아야 하느니라. 이런 자들은 더러운 이익을 얻으려고 자기들이 마땅히 가르쳐서는 안 될 것들을 가르쳐 가정들을 온통 뒤엎는도다. | Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake. |
| 12 | 그들 중의 한 사람 곧 그들의 대언자도 이르기를, 크레테 사람들은 항상 거짓말쟁이요 악한 짐승이요 게으른 탐식가라, 하였는데 | One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies. |

| 14 | 유대인들의 꾸며 낸 이야기와 진리에서 돌아서는 사람들의 명령들에 주의를 기울이지 못하게 하려 함이라. | Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth. |
| 15 | 순수한 자들에게는 모든 것이 순수하나 더럽혀지고 믿지 않는 자들에게는 아무것도 순수하지 아니하고 오히려 그들의 생각과 양심마저도 더럽혀져 있느니라. | Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. |
