1	Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.	딸 군대여 너는 떼를 모을지어다 그들이 우리를 에워쌌으니 막대기로 이스라엘 재판자의 뺨을 치리로다
2	But thou, Beth–lehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.	베들레헴에서 다스릴 자가 나오리라 베들레헴 에브라다야 너는 유다 족속 중에 작을지라도 이스라엘을 다스릴 자가 네게서 내게로 나올 것이라 그의 근본은 상고에, 영원에 있느니라
3	Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.	그러므로 여인이 해산하기까지 그들을 붙여 두시겠고 그 후에는 그의 형제 가운데에 남은 자가 이스라엘 자손에게로 돌아오리니
4	And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.	그가 여호와의 능력과 그의 하나님 여호와의 이름의 위엄을 의지하고 서서 목축하니 그들이 거주할 것이라 이제 그가 창대하여 땅 끝까지 미치리라
5	And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.	이 사람은 평강이 될 것이라 앗수르 사람이 우리 땅에 들어와서 우리 궁들을 밟을 때에는 우리가 일곱 목자와 여덟 군왕을 일으켜 그를 치리니
6	And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders.	그들이 칼로 앗수르 땅을 황폐하게 하며 니므롯 땅 어귀를 황폐하게 하리라 앗수르 사람이 우리 땅에 들어와서 우리 지경을 밟을 때에는 그가 우리를 그에게서 건져내리라
7	And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the Lord, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men.	야곱의 남은 자는 많은 백성 가운데 있으리니 그들은 여호와께로부터 내리는 이슬 같고 풀 위에 내리는 단비 같아서 사람을 기다리지 아니하며 인생을 기다리지 아니할 것이며
8	And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.	야곱의 남은 자는 여러 나라 가운데와 많은 백성 가운데에 있으리니 그들은 수풀의 짐승들 중의 사자 같고 양 떼 중의 젊은 사자 같아서 만일 그가 지나간즉 밟고 찢으리니 능히 구원할 자가 없을 것이라
9	Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off.	네 손이 네 대적들 위에 들려서 네 모든 원수를 진멸하기를 바라노라
10	And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord, that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and I will destroy thy chariots:	심판 여호와께서 이르시되 그 날에 이르러는 내가 네 군마를 네 가운데에서 멸절하며 네 병거를 부수며
11	And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw down all thy strong holds:	네 땅의 성읍들을 멸하며 네 모든 견고한 성을 무너뜨릴 것이며
12	And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers:	내가 또 복술을 네 손에서 끊으리니 네게 다시는 점쟁이가 없게 될 것이며
13	Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands.	내가 네가 새긴 우상과 주상을 너희 가운데에서 멸절하리니 네가 네 손으로 만든 것을 다시는 섬기지 아니하리라
14	And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee: so will I destroy thy cities.	내가 또 네 아세라 목상을 너희 가운데에서 빼버리고 네 성읍들을 멸할 것이며
15	And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard.	내가 또 진노와 분노로 순종하지 아니한 나라에 갚으리라 하셨느니라
