1	야훼께 성막을 세워 바치다 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.	And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2	"너는 정월 초하루에 성막 곧 만남의 장막을 세워라.	On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
3	거기에 증거궤를 두고, 그 궤 앞을 막으로 가려라.	And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the vail.
4	그리고 제사 상을 가져다 격식대로 상을 차려놓아라. 등잔대를 가져다 놓고 불들을 켜놓아라.	And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.
5	또 너는 금분향단을 증거궤 앞에 가져다 놓고, 성막 문간을 가리는 막을 쳐라.	And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.
6	성막, 곧 만남의 장막 문간 앞에 번제단을 가져다 놓아라.	And thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
7	만남의 장막과 제단 사이에 물두멍을 놓고 물을 담아두어라.	And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein.
8	울 휘장을 돌아가며 치고, 울 정문에 막을 드리워라.	And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate.
9	그리고 성별하는 향유를 가져다가 성막과 그 안에 있는 모든 것에 발라 성막과 거기에 있는 모든 기구를 성별하여라. 그리하면 모든 것이 거룩하게 되리라.	And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.
10	번제단과 거기에 딸린 모든 기구에 기름을 발라라. 이렇게 제단을 성별하여라. 그리하면 이 제단은 거룩한 것 가운데서도 가장 거룩한 것이 되리라.	And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy.
11	또 물두멍과 받침대에도 기름을 발라 성별하여라.	And thou shalt anoint the laver and his foot, and sanctify it.
12	너는 아론과 그의 아들들을 만남의 장막 문간으로 불러내어 물로 그들을 씻겨라.	And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.
13	아론에게 거룩한 옷을 입히고 기름을 부어 성별하여라. 그러면 그가 나를 섬기는 사제가 되리라.	And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.
14	또 아론의 아들들을 불러내어 속옷을 입혀라.	And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats:
15	그리고 그들의 아비에게 기름을 부었듯이 그들에게도 기름을 부어라. 그러면 그들이 나를 섬기는 사제가 되리라. 이렇게 그들에게 기름을 부음으로써 그들은 대대로 영원히 사제직을 맡게 되리라."	And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
16	모세는 야훼께서 지시하신 대로 다 하였다.	Thus did Moses: according to all that the Lord commanded him, so did he.
17	마침내 제이년 정월 초하루, 성막을 세울 때가 되어	And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.
18	모세는 성막을 세웠다. 밑받침을 놓고 널빤지를 맞추고 가로다지를 꿰었다. 기둥들을 세우고	And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up his pillars.
19	천막을 쳐 성막을 세우고 그 위에 천막 덮개를 씌우니 야훼께서 모세에게 지시하신 대로 되었다.	And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the Lord commanded Moses.
20	그는 증거판을 궤 안에 모셨다. 그 궤에 채를 꿰고 궤 위에 속죄판을 덮었다.	And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:
21	궤를 성막 안에 모시고 앞을 가리는 막을 쳤다. 이렇게 야훼께서 모세에게 지시하신 대로 증거궤를 가렸다.	And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the Lord commanded Moses.
22	그는 만남의 장막 안, 성막 북쪽 가, 막 바깥에 제사 상을 들여다 놓았다.	And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the vail.
23	야훼께서 모세에게 지시하신 대로 그는 제사 상 위에 빵을 차려 야훼 앞에 바쳤다.	And he set the bread in order upon it before the Lord; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
24	등잔대를 만남의 장막 안으로 들여다가 성막 남쪽 가 제사 상 맞은쪽에 놓고,	And he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.
25	거기 야훼 앞에 등잔불들을 올려놓았다. 이렇게 모세는 야훼께 지시받은 대로 하였다.	And he lighted the lamps before the Lord; as the Lord commanded Moses.
26	금제단을 만남의 장막 안에 들여다 막 앞에 놓고,	And he put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation before the vail:
27	그 제단 위에서 모세는 야훼께 지시받은 대로 좋은 향기를 내는 향을 피웠다.	And he burnt sweet incense thereon; as the Lord commanded Moses.
28	그리고 성막 문간에 막을 드리웠다.	And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle.
29	성막, 곧 만남의 장막 문 앞에 번제단을 놓고 그 위에 번제물과 곡식예물을 바쳤다. 이렇게 모세는 야훼께 지시받은 대로 하였다.	And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as the Lord commanded Moses.
30	만남의 장막과 제단 사이에 물두멍을 놓고 물을 거기에 담아두어	And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal.
31	모세와 아론과 아론의 아들들이 그 물을 떠서 손발을 씻게 하였다.	And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat:
32	그리하여 만남의 장막 안으로 들어갈 때와 제단에 가까이 나갈 때마다 그들은 야훼께서 모세에게 지시하신 대로 늘 손발을 씻었다.	When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the Lord commanded Moses.
33	그리고 울을 세워 성막과 제단을 둘러싸게 하고, 울 정문을 가리는 막을 드리웠다. 이렇게 모세는 모든 일을 다 마쳤다.	And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.
34	야훼의 영광이 성막을 떠나지 않다 그 때 구름이 만남의 장막을 덮고, 야훼의 영광이 성막에 가득 찼다.	Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
35	이렇게 만남의 장막에 구름이 덮이고 야훼의 영광이 성막에 가득 차 있었으므로 모세는 감히 만남의 장막 안으로 들어갈 수가 없었다.	And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
36	이스라엘 백성은 구름이 성막에서 걷히기만 하면 진을 거두고 떠났다.	And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:
37	구름이 걷히지 않으면 걷히는 날까지 길을 떠나지 않았다.	But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.
38	그들이 헤매고 떠도는 동안, 낮에는 야훼의 구름이 성막을 덮어주었고 밤에는 그 구름에서 불이 비치어 이스라엘 온 족속의 눈앞을 환히 밝혀주었다.	For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
