1	모세가 마지막 재앙을 선포하다 야훼께서 모세에게 이르셨다. "파라오와 이집트에 내릴 재앙이 하나 더 남았다. 그 뒤에야 파라오가 너희를 여기에서 내보낼 것이다. 그가 너희를 내보낼 때에는 너희를 마구 내쫓을 터이니	And the Lord said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.
2	너는 이 백성에게 일러라. 남자는 이웃 남자에게서, 여자는 이웃 여자에게서 은붙이나 금붙이를 요구하라고 하여라."	Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold.
3	야훼께서는 백성들이 이집트인들에게 환심을 사게 하시는 한편, 이집트 국내에서 파라오의 신하들과 백성들이 모세를 위대한 인물로 여기게끔 세워주셨다.	And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people.
4	모세가 말하였다. "야훼께서 이렇게 말씀하십니다. '내가 한밤중에 이집트인들 가운데로 나가리라.	And Moses said, Thus saith the Lord, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:
5	이집트 전국에 있는 맏이는 다 죽으리라. 장차 왕위에 오를 파라오의 맏아들을 비롯하여 맷돌을 가는 계집종의 맏아들에 이르기까지 다 죽을 것이요, 짐승이 낳은 맏배도 살아남지 못하리라.	And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.
6	그리하여 이집트에서는 전무후무한 곡성이 터지리라.	And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.
7	그러나 이스라엘 백성에게는 사람에게나 짐승에게나 개조차 혀를 날름거리지 못할 것이니, 이로써 야훼가 이스라엘 백성을 이집트인들과 구별하신다는 것을 너희들이 알게 되리라.	But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the Lord doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.
8	그리하면 너의 신하들이 모두 내려와 내 앞에 엎드려 나를 따르는 백성을 데리고 나가달라고 빌 것이다. 그제야 나는 나가리라.'" 말을 마치고 모세는 노기에 차서 파라오 앞을 물러나왔다.	And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a great anger.
9	야훼께서 모세에게 이르셨다. "파라오가 너의 말을 듣지 않으니, 내가 이집트 땅에서 놀라운 일을 더 해보이겠다."	And the Lord said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.
10	모세와 아론은 파라오 앞에서 온갖 놀라운 일을 해보였다. 그러나 야훼께서 파라오에게 고집을 부리게 하셨으므로 그는 백성을 그의 땅에서 내보내지 않았다.	And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land.
