1	고레스가 이스라엘을 건질 사명을 받다 야훼께서 당신이 기름 부어 세우신 고레스에게 말씀하신다. "내가 너의 오른손을 잡아주어 만백성을 네 앞에 굴복시키고 제왕들을 무장해제 시키리라. 네 앞에 성문을 활짝 열어 젖혀 다시는 닫히지 않게 하리라.	Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;
2	내가 너를 이끌고 앞장서서 언덕을 훤하게 밀고 나가리라. 청동성문을 두드려 부수고 쇠빗장을 부러뜨리리라.	I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
3	내가 감추어두었던 보화, 숨겨두었던 재물을 너에게 주면 너는 알리라, 내가 바로 야훼임을. 내가 바로 너를 지명하여 불러낸 이스라엘의 하느님임을!	And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
4	나의 종 야곱을 도우라고 내가 뽑아 세운 이스라엘을 도우라고 나는 너를 지명하여 불렀다. 나를 알지도 못하는 너에게 이 작위를 내렸다.	For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.
5	내가 야훼다. 누가 또 있느냐? 나밖에 다른 신은 없다. 너는 비록 나를 몰랐지만 너를 무장시킨 것은 나다.	I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
6	이는 나밖에 다른 신이 없음을 해 뜨는 곳에서 해 지는 곳에까지 알리려는 것이다. 내가 야훼다. 누가 또 있느냐?	That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.
7	빛을 만든 것도 나요, 어둠을 지은 것도 나다. 행복을 주는 것도 나요, 불행을 조장하는 것도 나다. 이 모든 일을 나 야훼가 하였다.	I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.
8	하늘아, 높은 곳에서 정의를 이슬처럼 내려라. 구름아, 승리를 비처럼 뿌려라. 구원이 피어나게, 정의도 함께 싹트게 땅아, 열려라. 이 모든 것을 창조한 것은 나 야훼다."	Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the Lord have created it.
9	하느님께서 하시는 일을 간섭할 자 없다 아! 네가 비참하게 되리라. 자기를 빚어낸 이와 다투는 자야. 옹기그릇이 옹기장이와 어찌 말다툼하겠느냐? 옹기흙이 어찌 옹기장이에게 "당신이 무엇을 만드는 거요?" 할 수 있겠느냐? 작품이 어떻게 작자에게 "형편없는 솜씨로군." 하고 불평할 수 있겠느냐?	Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?
10	어느 누가 제 아비에게 "왜 이 모양으로 낳았소?" 할 수 있겠느냐? 자기 어미에게 어찌 "이 모양으로 낳느라고 그 고생을 하였소?" 할 수 있겠느냐?	Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?
11	이스라엘을 빚어 만드신 거룩하신 이, 야훼께서 말씀하신다. "내 자식들의 일로 너희가 나를 심문하는 것이냐? 이 손으로 하는 일을 이래라 저래라 명령하는 것이냐?	Thus saith the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.
12	땅을 만든 것은 나다. 그 위에 사람을 창조해 놓은 것도 나다. 이 손으로 내가 하늘을 펼쳤다. 그 모든 별들에게 내가 명령을 내렸다.	I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.
13	내가 그를 일으켜 승리하게 하였다. 그의 앞길을 평탄하게 닦아준 것도 나다. 그가 나의 도읍을 재건하리라. 포로 된 내 백성을 해방시키리라. 대가도 선물도 아니 받고 해방시키리라. 만군의 야훼가 말한다."	I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the Lord of hosts.
14	만방이 야훼께로 돌아오다 야훼께서 말씀하신다. "이집트의 농민과 에티오피아의 상인들, 스바의 거인족이 너에게로 넘어와 너의 종이 되리라. 사슬에 묶여 네 뒤를 따르며 네 앞에 엎드리고 네 하느님께 빌리라. 너에게만 하느님은 있다. 그밖에는 없다. 그밖에는 다른 신이 없다."	Thus saith the Lord, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no God.
15	하느님께서 너도 몰래 너를 보살피셨다. 이스라엘의 하느님, 구세주께서 너를 보살피셨다.	Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.
16	성을 내며 너에게 달려드는 자들은 모두 어이없이 창피를 당하리라. 우상을 조각하는 그들은 창피해서 꽁무니를 빼리라.	They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together that are makers of idols.
17	이스라엘은 야훼께 구원을 얻으리니, 그 구원이 영원무궁하리라. 너희는 영원히 모욕과 수모를 받지 아니하리라.	But Israel shall be saved in the Lord with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
18	야훼께서 말씀하신다. 하늘을 창조하신 그분, 하느님이신 그분, 땅을 빚어 만드신 그분, 땅을 단단하게 다지신 그분, 땅을 황무지로 창조하지 아니하시고 사람이 살 수 있도록 빚어 만드신 그분께서 말씀하신다. "내가 야훼다. 누가 또 있느냐?	For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.
19	나는 숨어서 수군수군하지 않았다. 캄캄한 땅, 어느 구석에서 말하지 않았다. 나는 야곱의 후예에게 나를 찾으러 황무지로 나가라고 하지 않았다. 나 야훼는 옳은 말만 한다. 이루어질 일만 말한다.	I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the Lord speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
20	만방의 구세주는 야훼밖에 없다 민족들 가운데서 살아 남은 자들아, 다 모여오너라. 목상을 새겨 떠받들고 다니는 자들아, 살려줄 힘도 없는 신에게 기도하는 바보들아,	Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.
21	할 말이 있거든 해보아라. 증거가 있거든 내놓아 보아라. 서로 의논해 보아라. 처음에 그것을 들려준 자가 있느냐? 예전부터 그것을 일러준 자가 있느냐? 나 야훼밖에 누가 있느냐? 나는 정의를 세워 구원을 이루는 하느님이니, 나밖에 다른 신은 없다.	Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the Lord? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.
22	온 세상 모든 인간들아, 머리를 돌려 나에게로 와서 구원을 받아라. 나만이 하느님, 다른 신은 없다.	Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
23	내가 나의 이름을 걸어 맹세한다. 내 입에서 나가는 말은 틀림이 없다. 내 말은 반드시 그대로 이루어지고야 만다. 그리하여 사람마다 나에게 무릎을 꿇고 모든 민족들이 제 나라 말로 나에게 신앙을 고백하리라.	I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
24	'정의를 세울 힘은 야훼께만 있다.'" 성을 내며 야훼께 대들던 자는 모두 그의 앞에서 무안을 당하리라.	Surely, shall one say, in the Lord have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.
25	이스라엘의 모든 후예는 승리를 베푸신 야훼를 자랑스러이 모시리라.	In the Lord shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.
