절	공동번역 개정판 (1999)	King James Version
1	성전 건축을 마치다 솔로몬은 선왕 다윗이 환상으로 본 예루살렘 모리야 산에 야훼의 성전을 짓기 시작하였다. 그 곳은 여부스 사람 오르난의 타작 마당이었는데 다윗이 사두었던 것이다.	Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
2	성전을 짓기 시작한 때는 솔로몬이 왕이 된 지 사 년째 되던 해의 이월이었다.	And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
3	솔로몬은 하느님의 전을 지을 때 이렇게 기초를 놓았다. 옛날 자로 집 길이는 육십 척, 나비는 이십 척,	Now these are the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
4	성전 본관 앞 현관은 나비가 십 척, 길이가 집 나비 그대로 이십 척, 높이가 백이십 척이었다. 현관 안벽은 순금으로 입혔다.	And the porch that was in the front of the house, the length of it was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was an hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.
5	본관 안벽에는 전나무 판을 대고 순금을 입혔다. 그 위에는 종려나무 가지와 꽃줄 모양도 새겼다.	And the greater house he cieled with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains.
6	본관 안은 번쩍이는 보석으로 꾸미고 금박을 입혔는데 그 금은 바르와임에서 들여온 것이었다.	And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.
7	본관 안 들보와 문지방과 벽과 문짝은 모두 금박을 입혔고 벽에는 거룹들을 새겼다.	He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls.
8	그리고 지성소를 지었는데 길이는 집의 길이대로 이십 척, 나비도 이십 척이었다. 내부는 순금 육백 달란트로 금을 입혔다.	And he made the most holy house, the length whereof was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.
9	그것을 박는 금못의 무게만도 오십 세겔이 나갔다. 다락방도 금을 입혔다.	And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid the upper chambers with gold.
10	지성소 안에는 거룹 둘을 들였는데, 그것은 나무를 깎아 만들어 금을 입힌 것이었다.	And in the most holy house he made two cherubims of image work, and overlaid them with gold.
11	이 거룹들이 날개를 펴고 있는데, 그 길이는 이십 척이었다. 날개 하나의 길이는 오 척인데 한 쪽은 성전 벽에 닿았고 한 쪽은 다른 거룹의 날개에 닿았다.	And the wings of the cherubims were twenty cubits long: one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
12	또 다른 거룹의 날개 하나도 길이가 오 척인데 한 쪽은 성전 벽에 닿았고 한 쪽은 다른 거룹의 날개에 닿았다.	And one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub.
13	그래서 이 두 거룹이 날개를 펼친 것이 이십 척이었다. 이 거룹들은 서서 똑바로 성소 쪽을 바라보고 있었다.	The wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward.
14	그는 또 자주실과 붉은 실과 심홍 색실로 휘장을 짜고 그 위에 거룹들을 수놓았다.	And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought cherubims thereon.
15	성전 정면에는 높이가 삼십오 척 나가는 기둥 둘을 만들어 세우고 그 위에 높이 오 척짜리 대접받침을 얹었다.	Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits high, and the chapiter that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.
16	목걸이 모양으로 꽃줄을 만들어 그 기둥들 머리에 둘렀다. 그리고 석류 모양 백 개를 만들어 그 꽃줄에 달았다.	And he made chains, as in the oracle, and put them on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.
17	이 기둥의 하나는 성전 본관 앞 오른쪽에 세우고 다른 하나는 왼쪽에 세웠다. 오른쪽 기둥 이름은 야긴이라 하고 왼쪽 기둥 이름은 보아즈라 하였다.	And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
