1	북방 부족들 이싸갈의 아들은 돌라, 부아, 야숩, 시므론, 이상 넷이다.	Now the sons of Issachar were, Tola, and Puah, Jashub, and Shimron, four.
2	돌라의 아들은 우찌, 르바이야, 여리엘, 야흐매, 입삼, 스무엘인데, 이들은 힘있는 장사로서 돌라 가문의 수령들이었다. 다윗 시대의 족보에 등록된 그들의 수효는 이만 이천육백 명이었다.	And the sons of Tola; Uzzi, and Rephaiah, and Jeriel, and Jahmai, and Jibsam, and Shemuel, heads of their father’s house, to wit, of Tola: they were valiant men of might in their generations; whose number was in the days of David two and twenty thousand and six hundred.
3	우찌의 아들은 이즈라히야, 이즈라히야의 아들은 미가엘, 오바디야, 요엘, 이씨야, 이 다섯은 모두 수령들이었다.	And the sons of Uzzi; Izrahiah: and the sons of Izrahiah; Michael, and Obadiah, and Joel, Ishiah, five: all of them chief men.
4	이 일족들은 유난히 부인들도 많고 자식들도 많았다. 이 수령들의 지휘를 받는 군대를 족보별 가문별로 편성하고 보니 모두 삼만 육천 명이나 되었다.	And with them, by their generations, after the house of their fathers, were bands of soldiers for war, six and thirty thousand men: for they had many wives and sons.
5	이싸갈의 여러 씨족에 등록된 군인의 수는 모두 팔만 칠천 명이었다.	And their brethren among all the families of Issachar were valiant men of might, reckoned in all by their genealogies fourscore and seven thousand.
6	베냐민의 아들은 벨라, 베겔, 여디아엘, 이상 셋이다.	The sons of Benjamin; Bela, and Becher, and Jediael, three.
7	벨라의 아들은 에스본, 우찌, 우찌엘, 여리못, 이리, 이상 다섯이다. 이들은 힘있는 장사로서 각 가문의 수령이었다. 등록된 군인의 수효는 이만 이천삼십사 명이었다.	And the sons of Bela; Ezbon, and Uzzi, and Uzziel, and Jerimoth, and Iri, five; heads of the house of their fathers, mighty men of valour; and were reckoned by their genealogies twenty and two thousand and thirty and four.
8	베겔의 아들은 즈미라, 요아스, 엘리에젤, 엘요에내, 오므리, 여레못, 아비야, 아나돗, 알레멧. 이들이 모두 베겔의 아들이었다.	And the sons of Becher; Zemira, and Joash, and Eliezer, and Elioenai, and Omri, and Jerimoth, and Abiah, and Anathoth, and Alameth. All these are the sons of Becher.
9	각 가문의 수령과 군인들을 족보별로 등록하고 보니, 모두 이만 이백 명이었다.	And the number of them, after their genealogy by their generations, heads of the house of their fathers, mighty men of valour, was twenty thousand and two hundred.
10	여디아엘의 아들은 빌한, 빌한의 아들은 여우스, 베냐민, 에훗, 그나아나, 제단, 다르싯, 아히사할.	The sons also of Jediael; Bilhan: and the sons of Bilhan; Jeush, and Benjamin, and Ehud, and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tharshish, and Ahishahar.
11	이들이 모두 여디아엘의 아들이었다. 각 가문의 수령에다 힘센 장정들까지 합하여, 싸움에 나갈 수 있는 군인은 모두 일만 칠천 이백 명이었다.	All these the sons of Jediael, by the heads of their fathers, mighty men of valour, were seventeen thousand and two hundred soldiers, fit to go out for war and battle.
12	그 밖에도 수빔과 후빔이 있었다. 단의 아들은 후심 하나뿐이었다.	Shuppim also, and Huppim, the children of Ir, and Hushim, the sons of Aher.
13	납달리의 아들은 야시엘, 구니, 예셀, 살룸. 이상은 빌하의 몸에서 얻은 후손들이다.	The sons of Naphtali; Jahziel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shallum, the sons of Bilhah.
14	므나쎄는 아람인 소실의 몸에서 아스리엘을 보았다. 그 소실은 길르앗을 세운 마길도 낳았다.	The sons of Manasseh; Ashriel, whom she bare: (but his concubine the Aramitess bare Machir the father of Gilead:
15	마길은 마아가라는 아내를 맞았다. 그에게는 몰레겟이라는 누이가 있었다. 므나쎄의 둘째 아들의 이름은 슬롭핫이었는데, 그에게는 딸밖에 없었다.	And Machir took to wife the sister of Huppim and Shuppim, whose sister’s name was Maachah;) and the name of the second was Zelophehad: and Zelophehad had daughters.
16	마길의 아내 마아가는 아들을 낳고 베레스라는 이름을 붙여주었다. 베레스에게는 세레스라는 아우가 있었는데, 그는 울람과 라켐이라는 아들을 두었다.	And Maachah the wife of Machir bare a son, and she called his name Peresh; and the name of his brother was Sheresh; and his sons were Ulam and Rakem.
17	울람의 아들은 브단이다. 이상이 므나쎄의 손자요, 마길의 아들인 길르앗의 후손이다.	And the sons of Ulam; Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh.
18	마길의 누이 몰레겟은 이스홋, 아비에젤, 마흘라를 낳았다.	And his sister Hammoleketh bare Ishod, and Abiezer, and Mahalah.
19	스미다의 아들은 아히안, 세겜, 리크히, 아니암이다.	And the sons of Shemida were, Ahian, and Shechem, and Likhi, and Aniam.
20	에브라임의 아들은 수델라, 그 다음 대는 베렛, 그 다음 대는 다핫, 그 다음 대는 엘라다, 그 다음 대는 다핫,	And the sons of Ephraim; Shuthelah, and Bered his son, and Tahath his son, and Eladah his son, and Tahath his son,
21	그 다음 대는 자밧, 그 다음 대는 수델라. 에브라임은 수델라 외에 에제르와 엘르앗이라는 아들이 있었는데, 그들은 갓 사람들이 사는 데 내려가서 가축을 약탈하려다가 맞아죽었다.	And Zabad his son, and Shuthelah his son, and Ezer, and Elead, whom the men of Gath that were born in that land slew, because they came down to take away their cattle.
22	아버지 에브라임은 이 일을 두고 오래 슬퍼하였으므로 친척들이 찾아와서 위로하였다.	And Ephraim their father mourned many days, and his brethren came to comfort him.
23	그 후 에브라임은 아내와 한자리에 들었다. 아내가 임신하여 아들을 낳자, 그는 집안에 액운이 있었다고 하여 아들의 이름을 브리아라 지었다.	And when he went in to his wife, she conceived, and bare a son, and he called his name Beriah, because it went evil with his house.
24	에브라임의 딸 세에라는 아랫 벳호론과 윗 벳호론을 세웠고 우쩬세에라도 세웠다.	(And his daughter was Sherah, who built Beth–horon the nether, and the upper, and Uzzen–sherah.)
25	에브라임에게는 또 레바라는 아들이 있었다. 그 다음 대는 레셉, 그 다음 대는 델라, 그 다음 대는 다한,	And Rephah was his son, also Resheph, and Telah his son, and Tahan his son,
26	그 다음 대는 라아단, 그 다음 대는 암미훗, 그 다음 대는 엘리사마,	Laadan his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son,
27	그 다음 대는 눈, 그 다음 대는 여호수아이다.	Non his son, Jehoshua his son.
28	에브라임의 후손들은 베델과 거기에 딸린 촌락들, 거기에서 동쪽에 있는 나아란, 서쪽에 있는 게젤과 거기에 딸린 촌락들, 세겜과 거기에 딸린 촌락들, 아야와 거기에 딸린 촌락들에 흩어져 살았다.	And their possessions and habitations were, Beth–el and the towns thereof, and eastward Naaran, and westward Gezer, with the towns thereof; Shechem also and the towns thereof, unto Gaza and the towns thereof:
29	므나쎄의 후손들은 벳스안과 거기에 딸린 촌락들, 다아낙과 거기에 딸린 촌락들, 므기또와 거기에 딸린 촌락들, 도르와 거기에 딸린 촌락들을 손안에 넣었다. 이상 여러 곳에서 이스라엘의 아들 요셉의 후손들이 살았다.	And by the borders of the children of Manasseh, Beth–shean and her towns, Taanach and her towns, Megiddo and her towns, Dor and her towns. In these dwelt the children of Joseph the son of Israel.
30	아셀은 임나, 이스와, 이스위, 브리아라는 아들과 세라라는 딸을 두었다.	The sons of Asher; Imnah, and Isuah, and Ishuai, and Beriah, and Serah their sister.
31	브리아는 헤벨과 말기엘이라는 아들을 두었는데, 이 말기엘이 바로 비르자윗을 세운 사람이다.	And the sons of Beriah; Heber, and Malchiel, who is the father of Birzavith.
32	헤벨은 야블렛, 소멜, 호담이라는 아들과 수아라는 딸을 낳았다.	And Heber begat Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, and Shua their sister.
33	야블렛의 아들은 바삭, 빔할, 아스왓, 이상이 야블렛의 아들들이다.	And the sons of Japhlet; Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashvath. These are the children of Japhlet.
34	소멜의 아들은 아히, 로흐가, 여후빠, 아람,	And the sons of Shamer; Ahi, and Rohgah, Jehubbah, and Aram.
35	소멜의 아우 호담의 아들은 소바, 임나, 셀레스, 아말,	And the sons of his brother Helem; Zophah, and Imna, and Shelesh, and Amal.
36	소바의 아들은 수아, 하르네벨, 수알, 베리, 이므라,	The sons of Zophah; Suah, and Harnepher, and Shual, and Beri, and Imrah,
37	베셀, 호드, 삼마, 실사, 이드란, 브에라,	Bezer, and Hod, and Shamma, and Shilshah, and Ithran, and Beera.
38	예델의 아들은 여분네, 비스바, 으라,	And the sons of Jether; Jephunneh, and Pispah, and Ara.
39	울라의 아들은 아라, 한니엘, 리스야.	And the sons of Ulla; Arah, and Haniel, and Rezia.
40	이들은 모두 아셀의 후손으로서 각 가문의 수령들이요, 출중한 인물들이요, 힘센 장사들이요, 으뜸가는 대표들이었다. 출전할 수 있는 군인의 수효는 이만 육천 명이었다.	All these were the children of Asher, heads of their father’s house, choice and mighty men of valour, chief of the princes. And the number throughout the genealogy of them that were apt to the war and to battle was twenty and six thousand men.
