1	요르단 강 동쪽에서 모세에게 정복당한 왕들 이스라엘 백성이 요르단 강 건너편 해 돋는 쪽 아르논 계곡에서 헤르몬 산악 지대에 이르기까지 온 아라바를 정복하며 쳐죽인 왕들은 아래와 같다.	Now these are the kings of the land, which the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land on the other side Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:
2	헤스본에 살던 아모리 왕 시혼이 다스리던 지역은 길르앗 절반으로서 아르논 계곡 중간 지점 언덕 위에 있는 아로엘에서 암몬 백성과 접경한 야뽁 개울에 이르렀고,	Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and from the middle of the river, and from half Gilead, even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;
3	거기에서 해 뜨는 쪽 아라바 긴네렛 호수에 이르고 한편 짠물호수라고도 이르는 아라바 호수에 이르렀는데, 벳여시못 쪽 비스가 산 기슭이 그 남단이었다.	And from the plain to the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea on the east, the way to Beth–jeshimoth; and from the south, under Ashdoth–pisgah:
4	아스다롯과 에드레이에 살던 마지막 거인족 바산 왕 옥은	And the coast of Og king of Bashan, which was of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,
5	헤르몬 산과 살가, 그술 사람과 마아가 사람과 접경한 바산 전지역과 헤스본 왕 시혼의 영토와 접경한 길르앗 절반을 다스렸다.	And reigned in mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.
6	야훼의 종 모세가 이스라엘 사람을 거느리고 이 왕들을 쳐죽인 후 그 땅을 르우벤 지파와 가드 지파와 므나쎄 지파 절반에게 주어 차지하게 했던 것이다.	Them did Moses the servant of the Lord and the children of Israel smite: and Moses the servant of the Lord gave it for a possession unto the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh.
7	가나안에서 여호수아에게 정복당한 왕들 여호수아가 이스라엘 백성을 거느리고 요르단 강 서편에서 쳐죽인 이 땅의 왕들은 아래와 같다. 그들은 레바논 골짜기에 있는 바알갓으로부터 세일을 향해 우뚝 서 있는 할락 산에 이르는 지역의 왕들이었다. 여호수아는 그 땅을 이스라엘 각 지파에 나누어주었다. 그래서 그들이 각기 제 몫으로 차지한 땅은	And these are the kings of the country which Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side Jordan on the west, from Baal–gad in the valley of Lebanon even unto the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir; which Joshua gave unto the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions;
8	그 산악 지대와 야산 지대와 아라바와 언덕 지대와 광야와 네겝 지방이었다. 거기에는 헷족, 아모리족, 가나안족, 브리즈족, 히위족, 여부스족이 살고 있었다.	In the mountains, and in the valleys, and in the plains, and in the springs, and in the wilderness, and in the south country; the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites:
9	예리고 왕 하나, 베델 가까이 있던 아이 왕 하나,	The king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which is beside Beth–el, one;
10	예루살렘 왕 하나, 헤브론 왕 하나,	The king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;
11	야르뭇 왕 하나, 라기스 왕 하나,	The king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;
12	에글론 왕 하나, 게젤 왕 하나,	The king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one;
13	드빌 왕 하나, 게델 왕 하나,	The king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one;
14	호르마 왕 하나, 아랏 왕 하나,	The king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one;
15	리브나 왕 하나, 아둘람 왕 하나,	The king of Libnah, one; the king of Adullam, one;
