절	공동번역 개정판 (1999)	King James Version
1	포도덩굴 비유 야훼께서 나에게 이런 말씀을 내리셨다.	And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2	"너 사람아, 포도덩굴이 무엇이냐? 숲 속에 얽힌 덩굴과 다를 게 무엇이냐?	Son of man, What is the vine tree more than any tree, or than a branch which is among the trees of the forest?
3	거기에서 가구를 만들 재목이 나겠느냐? 무엇을 걸어둘 못을 만들겠느냐?	Shall wood be taken thereof to do any work? or will men take a pin of it to hang any vessel thereon?
4	보아라, 땔감으로 불에 들어간다. 양쪽 끝은 타고 가운데는 그을었는데, 그것을 무엇에 쓰겠느냐?	Behold, it is cast into the fire for fuel; the fire devoureth both the ends of it, and the midst of it is burned. Is it meet for any work?
5	옹근 대로 있어도 쓸모가 없을 터인데, 하물며 불에 타 그을은 것을 어디에다 쓰겠느냐!	Behold, when it was whole, it was meet for no work: how much less shall it be meet yet for any work, when the fire hath devoured it, and it is burned?
6	주 야훼가 말한다. 숲 속에서 자란 포도덩굴을 땔감으로 불에 집어넣듯 예루살렘에 사는 자들을 나는 불에 집어넣으리라.	Therefore thus saith the Lord God; As the vine tree among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so will I give the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
7	불에서 빠져 나오다가도 내가 화가 나서 노려보면 불에 타 죽고 말리라. 내가 화가 나서 노려보리니, 그제야 너희는 내가 야훼임을 알리라.	And I will set my face against them; they shall go out from one fire, and another fire shall devour them; and ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I set my face against them.
8	나를 배신하였으니 내가 그 땅을 쑥밭으로 만들리라. 주 야훼가 하는 말이다."	And I will make the land desolate, because they have committed a trespass, saith the Lord God.
