절	공동번역 개정판 (1999)	King James Version
1	거짓 예언자들 야훼께서 나에게 말씀을 내리셨다.	And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2	"너 사람아, 너는 이스라엘의 예언자로 자처하는 자들에게 내 말을 전하여라. 제 마음대로 말하면서 내 말이라고 하는 자들에게 이렇게 일러주어라. '야훼의 말씀을 들어라.	Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the Lord;
3	주 야훼가 말한다. 저주받아라, 너희 발현을 보지도 않은 채 멋모르고 제 생각에 끌려다니는 미련한 예언자들아!	Thus saith the Lord God; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
4	이스라엘아, 너희의 예언자들은 허물어진 옛 성터나 돌아다니는 여우 같은 것들이다.	O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.
5	이스라엘 족속을 지키는 성이 무너졌는데도 올라가서 다시 성을 쌓아 야훼의 거둥 날, 전쟁에 대비하기는커녕	Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the Lord.
6	허황한 환상이나 보고 속임수로 점이나 치면서 야훼의 말을 사칭하는 것들이다. 내가 보내지도 않았는데 멋대로 지껄이고는 그대로 이루어지기를 은근히 바라는 것들이다.	They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The Lord saith: and the Lord hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.
7	너희가 허황한 환상을 보고 속임수로 점을 치면서 야훼의 말이라고 하지만, 나는 그런 말을 한 적이 없다.	Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The Lord saith it; albeit I have not spoken?
8	주 야훼가 말한다. 너희는 터무니없는 환상을 보고 허무맹랑한 말을 하였다. 내가 기필코 너희를 치리라. 주 야훼가 하는 말이다.	Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord God.
9	허황한 환상이나 보고 속임수로 점이나 치는 예언자라는 것들을 이 손으로 치리라. 내 백성의 모임에 들이지도 않고 이스라엘 족속의 명단에서도 빼어 이스라엘 땅에 들어가지도 못하게 하리라. 그제야 너희는 내가 주 야훼임을 알리라.	And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord God.
10	그 예언자라는 것들은 무엇 하나 잘되는 것이 없는데도 잘만 되어간다고 하며 나의 백성을 비뚤게 이끌었다. 그래서 백성이 담을 쌓으면, 그 위에 회나 바르는 것들이다.	Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:
11	그 회를 바르는 자에게 말하여라. 그 담은 무너진다. 소나기가 쏟아지고 주먹 같은 우박이 퍼붓고 광풍이 불어닥치면,	Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.
12	그 성은 마침내 무너지리니, 회칠한 것이 다 어찌 되었느냐는 비난을 면하지 못하리라.	Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?
13	주 야훼가 말한다. 내 홧김에 광풍이 불어닥치고 내 분노에 소나기가 쏟아지고 내 진노에 주먹 같은 우박이 내려 이 성을 허물어뜨릴 것이다.	Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.
14	나는 너희가 회칠한 성을 바닥이 드러나게 헐어내리리라. 그 성이 무너질 때 너희는 그 틈에 깔려 죽으리라. 그제야 너희는 내가 야훼임을 알리라.	So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
15	나는 이렇게 그 성과 그 성에 회칠한 자들에게 화를 풀고 나서, 너희에게 말할 것이다. - 성도 없어졌다. 성에 회칠한 자들도 없어졌다.	Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered morter, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it;
16	발현을 본답시고 보고는 무엇 하나 잘되는 것 없는데도 잘되어 간다고 하면서 그것을 예루살렘 주민에게 나의 말이라고 전하던 이스라엘의 예언자들은 없어졌다. 주 야훼가 하는 말이다.'	To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord God.
17	너 사람아, 너는 이제 눈을 돌려 네 겨레 가운데서 자기가 하고 싶은 소리를 하면서도 그것을 내 말이라고 하는 여인들에게 나의 말을 전하여라.	Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them,
18	'주 야훼가 말한다. 저주받아라, 너희 사람 팔목에 토시를 만들어 끼우고 키 큰 사람 키 작은 사람에게 너울을 씌워 사람들의 목숨을 노리는 것들아! 너희가 내 백성의 목숨을 노리면서 너희의 목숨은 부지할 듯싶으냐?	And say, Thus saith the Lord God; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?
19	너희는 내 백성이 보는 데서 보리 몇 줌과 빵 몇 조각을 받고 나를 욕되게 하였다. 거짓말에나 귀가 솔깃해 하는 나의 백성을 속여, 죽지 않아도 될 사람을 죽이고 죽여야 할 자를 살려두었다.	And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?
20	주 야훼가 말한다. 너희가 새 잡듯이 사람을 잡는 그 토시를 어떻게 내가 그냥 두겠느냐? 내가 그것을 너희의 팔에서 찢어버리고 너희가 사로잡은 그 사람들을 새처럼 놓아주리라.	Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.
21	너희가 씌워준 너울을 찢어버리고 더 이상 잡고 있지 못하게 내 백성을 너희 손에서 구해 내리라. 그제야 너희는 내가 야훼임을 알리라.	Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
22	죄없는 사람의 마음을 내가 왜 괴롭히겠느냐? 그런데 너희는 터무니없는 소리로 그 마음을 꺾어주었다. 그런가 하면, 죄있는 자는 나쁜 길을 버리고 살 길로 돌아오지 못하게 옆에서 부채질을 하였다.	Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:
23	내가 이제 너희로 하여금 다시는 허황한 환상을 보지 못하게 하고 속임수로 점을 치지도 못하게 할 것이다. 그리하여 내 백성을 너희의 손에서 구해 내리라. 그제야 너희는 내가 야훼임을 알리라.'"	Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
